    We signed a contract with Siding Repair Systems to have 3 sides of my house siding in Harbor Gray Vinyl siding and 1 side with ***** ****** Shaker siding. To be painted Iron Gray. Everything was to be trimmed in black. The work started and all the siding was removed from my house. They then started installing white siding. I was called and ask if I was ok with white. I said no and was told all work would stop on my house for 4 weeks. My house was left with the ***** ****** unpainted on 1 side and house wrap on 2 of the 3 sides for 6 weeks until I called and asked when they planned to return. They continued to install white siding in places and I had to keep asking for it to be removed. I was then called and told everything is done but they do not know the paint color and I needed to leave work to go and pick out the color I wanted. The color was listed on the contract but they said they did not know what "Iron Gray" was and it would cause a delay if I did not pick it out. After taking my contract with me to *******-******** they told me that is a standard ***** ****** color. The Contractor then asked for vinyl save black paint. The store employee told me do not let them put that on your house. They then "finished" the ******** is how my house stands now. 1.The worst paint job I have ever seen. I now am getting quotes to have it repainted. (see Pics)2.Broken bricks from where I am assuming they fell off a ladder and broke my shutter. (see Pics)******* Paint on a white window they attempted to cover up. (Wife made them stop because they were making it worse.)**** entry way with nails pushed out and broken **** seams.5.Cutting my own vents. City Inspector was called to look at and told was a fire hazard.6.Missed pay from work. I left no less than 10 times to meet with people from this company I was told "What do you want your not getting any money back" 2750 was the remaining balance was only thing I could do Just looking for refund to have house repainted.

    We put vinyl siding on most of this house, we tried to take care of issues, he insisted on fixing some of them himself, we sent a worker from a different crew to take care of the only 2 issues he would let us fix. He said that worker did a great job. He got new gutters which we have never gotten paid for we told him to keep the ******* balance owed. The gables are the only part of the job that would require painting and they shouldn't cost over *******. He made it sound like he was satisfied with not paying the balance owed and said he'd rather take care of what was left to do himself. We would gladly come back and fix his issues.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:
    They are only addressing one issue the gables that need to be repainted. Please address the rest of this issues.

    1. The entry way that needs boards that were damaged by Siding Repair Systems replaced. The **** needs to be replaced that was broken and also needs to be repainted now. This was in the contract to not touch. 

    2. The broken mortar on the brick from ripping the shutter off the house. (I assume your guy fell off a ladder because he also sprayed my window with paint)

    3. We would not let your company fix the window they sprayed with black paint because in their first attempt they go even more white paint on the brick. 

    4. The shutter that now needs to be replaced because after it was broken they just drove a new s**** into it. So now I just have a random hole in my shutter.

    5. I would not let your company fix the dryer vent because **** told me that it did not need to be done. Even after I told owner I would do it **** came back the next day and told me that it should not be done.

    6. The only reason a new crew was sent out was because I called no less that 6 times including having the owner out to fix issues. Which **** told me he would not fix. 

    7. My time also has a value. I requested to meet with the whoever was in charge to which he canceled 5 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive. I had to go to the paint store because **** said the color on the contract was not a color he knew. I had to meet with the owner to get issues resolved. I had to come home because I would see on camera they were installing white siding yet again on my house. I missed work for everyone of these occasions. 

    8. My house was left with no house wrap on 1/3 of the house for 6 weeks with rain. I had to call and complain that there was water issues. **** came out and told me that is was fine and there was no issues. So I redid the sheathing on the house to avoid water damage. (I did not do this because I wanted to I did it because **** refused to even basic house wrap it)

    9. Yes I refused to let **** and his crew fix anything on my house and said I would do it myself. (every fix they attempted they made worse). I requested a new crew for the 2 items that required ladders to reach. The reason is even after **** (the Owner) came to my house and told me how bad it looked **** came out and refused to fix it. He said "that is how it was". 

    10. The step flashing that the damaged behind the chimney. Again another issue I was told was fine because "The siding would cover it". Come on any roofer or siding installer will tell you this is not true. So I fixed this as well.

    11. I did accept the 2750 because I was told by ***. This is the best you are going to get.

    I do have a problem with the work your company preformed but mainly with **** and his crew. Any work that was low to the ground I just fixed myself because **** would either tell me it was not a problem (like the dryer vent) or they could not but it in black (the garage door trim) or they it was not his job to fix (the rusted flashing on attic window) or his attempt to paint the vinyl black. The list can go on and on. All I am asking is for a refund for my time and supplies I used to fix issues and to correct the issues I still have. The 2700 does not cover my time spent away from work/working on fixing the issues plus supplies. Let alone the remaining issues I still have.

    021025 JM; Spoke with *** ***** and he has been working with *** ****-(the owner), and *** the -(Operation Manager) and ****-( Technician). He is going to fix the reminder of the additional work he wants done.. He is going to talk with his wife regarding if they have any other issues at this time. 

    02/11/25 JM; Spoke with *** **** ***** and he is very happen with the credit given to him with the gutter and the other things on the house he has fixed himself with the help of ****-(Owner). *** ***** has request for us to close this Complaint  and is very happy and please with the help that was provided to him by the BBB. He will contact us if he needs our assistance in the future.

Refund/Credit has been given to *** **** and  he seem very satisfied and the company would like this complaint close. *** **** is willing to work with *** **** in the future if he needs or wants his assistance. *** **** again has requested for this complaint to be closed.

    Contracted with the business to change portion of the siding on my house.They failed to report black mold hidden under the siding contaminating the plywood and attempted to cover it up but was discovered by my general contractor.Then contracted to replace the windows on the home. There is a broken screen i've had for 6 months that is covered under warranty that they have not returned to replace despite multiple phone calls and emails.

    I talked to the customers wife the week of 10/14/2024 and asked her to have the customer to call me so I could meet with him. He never returned my call. We thought we had his issues taken care of awhile back, we addressed his mold issues. As to his screen we need the numbers in the window to see about getting it taken care of. He got his siding and windows and one issue with one screen does not warrant a $60000.00 refund. I need the customer to call and set up a meeting with me so I can get his issues taken care of.

    I signed a contract on 11/20/2023 with Siding Repair Systems to replace all siding and siding trim on my home with Allura. **** (salesman) also included on the contract that Siding Repair Systems would measure and install awnings that i was to purchase and securing items in planter boxes prior to installation of awnings. Also, when I signed the agreement, **** informed me that i had missed the cutoff date for $500 off the job and that he would talk to his boss about making it up to me in gift cards. **** also told me that his company would purchase the wood/siding items that were in my garage from a previous job (not done by Siding Repair Systems). The job was started on 4/1/2024 by **** and his crew. That day ****** broke one of the 4 windows above the front door. He told me that he was ordering the window that day and it would take 2-3 weeks to come in. Fast forward to 6/27/2024 when **** showed up to replace the broken window. I noticed that the window did not match the other 3 and informed both the installers and ********************* at the time. To date, i still have 3 windows that match and one that does not. Please see attachment for details/text.What i am asking for is communication and transparency and that all 4 of my windows look the same (match) as before the one was damaged. Also for the interior garage be fixed where the nails went through and tore up the insulation. The top and side garage seal is also missing which was there prior to siding installation.

    We have ordered 3 more windows so all the windows on the front of her house will match, you cannot find an exact match for windows as old as hers are. We strive to keep our customers happy. I have attached the invoice for the 3 windows ordered to match the one we installed. We will get these installed once we know they have come in, and this situation will be resolved.

    i do not feel comfortable at this time saying that the concern has been resolved until the following are completed:

    1)  installation of 3 windows which have been ordered

    2)  installation of garage side and top seal which was removed during siding installation and is now missing.

    3)  repair inside of garage wall where nails went through the insulation.

    4)  Window boxes that were removed/reinstalled during siding insulation are pulling away from siding.  Per ******, he is going to remake the boxes and secure them using braces to the siding under front windows.

    5)  removal of pergola from lawn that was taken down during siding installation.  

    6)  once awnings are installed (by outside company), Siding Repair Systems to assist with securing window box inserts.

    On 4/17/23 I contracted for 3 replacement windows and 2 replacement exterior doors w/storm doors. One of the windows was specifically to be an awning window. 8/29/23 the windows and doors are finally to be installed. The front door is wrong and opens the wrong way. The second door is too big for the door opening it is to go into. The doors do not get installed and are on reorder. NO awning window is received instead a double casement window is installed instead. Instead of a single glass area there is two narrow sections with a 5 inch wide solid portion of the window frame running down the middle. Instead of a single panel that opens out at the bottom, there are two panels that open out to the sides from the middle blocking any *********** and basically forming a window tunnel. I hate this window. I loathe this window. I would never ever everever ever have chosen to put this window in my house. It was verified in April before I signed that the window manufacturer made awning windows in the needed size. A substitution was made without my knowledge, permission, or consent when the awning window order was placed with the manufacturer.I have been MADE to pay for a window that I despise and hate every time I look at it. In four 4 months there was not a single mention of a change to a window or any discussion of what I as the consumer the person paying for the window would want if the awning was not possible.The existing window was out and this monstrosity was in before anyone said anything about a change.I have to wait for the correct doors to be manufactured before they can be installed. I would like a replacement window of my choice installed as I paid for. Not someone else's choice of what they like or think I should consider an acceptable window. If I wanted a window like this I would have chosen it in the first place.The final payment of $5000 will be paid once the doors are finally installed.

    We have reached out to the customer and have ordered her a new window, we didn't know she was so unhappy with the 1st misordered window, we did give her a $500.00 discount, because she said she would keep the window, but as time went on she decided she hated the window, so we have ordered a different window for her at no cost to her.

    I have been contacting Siding Repair Systems for years trying to get them to repair the siding they installed on our home. The siding in the back of the house has ripped away in a section, several courses have fallen off a section, and 2 corner posts have slipped several feet down. I have sent them photographs and the owner has promised that they will contact me about taking care of the repairs. I stated concern that the structure of the home is being compromised with the exposed sections. They have had several jobs in our neighborhood and I asked them to swing by to at least take a look at the areas that are failing. They have ignored multiple requests to look at the areas of failure and I am out of patience. I have copies of all the emails sent to **** since the failure started. He is a nice man which has explained our patience; however we must have this installation failure repaired ASAP.

    The supplier may be out of business but the manufacturer of the siding is very much in business and I understand that Siding Repair Systems needs to find a supplier. We look forward to resolution/action within the next two weeks as **** said. Thank you.
