On 6/8/025 I took my dog to the Urgent Vet on an emergency basis. I was told upon arrival that the bill would be $129. When there they looked at her, and said they would write up an estimate for treatment. While waiting the Vet put 2 small pieces of gauze and wrapped it in a purple stretch bandage. The nurse came back in and said the dog needed stitches and sedation and antibiotics and pain medication that would cost $1000. I told her I could not afford that and that we would take her to our vet on Monday when they opened up. When they ran my credit card they took $231.26, gave us no medication or antibiotics or pain meds. She left in worse pain and still gushing blood as she was when we took her in. I took her to my vet, *********************** and the vet told me that it was inhumane that they did not give her antibiotics or pain medication as the infection could have been avoided if they had given it to me. He also said at the very least pain meds should have been given. Upon examination, it was determined that she did not need surgery or stitches but rather glue and a bandage. *********************** told me that the amount charge was drastically exaggerated by Urgent Vet and they did not treat her as she should have been treated. I was told that Urgent Vet would email me a bill and have not received anything from them.

I do not want this case closed out, I would like to wait for their response. I feel that I am in the right and should be reimbursed as the quality of care For which I thought I was paying forwas not given to my pet, Which I outlined in the original complaint
