  We bought a new waverunner and a used boat from them a few years ago. Last year, we sold our home and they took our WR and boat to sell on consignment.They sold our WR.Last fall, ******** informed us that they had not been showing our boat as THEY had taken it out on the lake to show a potential buyer and something went wrong with the engine! We then had to pay for the repairs. They didn't get around to repairing the boat until this spring.Once the repairs were completed, we assumed the boat was now listed for sale.We called at the end of May as we were still not seeing it listed and then was informed by ******** that they couldn't list it until the boat had been detailed.We scheduled detailing for June 7th and left a message for ******** that it would be ready on the 7th.We checked daily and still did not see it listed so began calling. We could not get ahold of him but left messages on his answering machine and with other employees almost daily but recieved no call back. We messaged him on the business website, FB and messaged the owner. Today is June 21st and finally after calling all morning, got a call back.1st, he tried to tell us that we owed a year of storage and we never signed a ***************. (Note that it was ******** himself who informed us that they were attempting to show it to a potential buyer when something went wrong with the engine and sold the WR!) He then retracted the storage issue but tried to explain how, if they had not taken the boat out, how he knew there was a problem with the engine? He did admit to starting it but....not for what purpose he was supposedly starting it. Note that this is a different story than what he had reported to us in the fall. He too informed us that the swim platform is sagging on one side, that the power cables nor our bouys are there but attempted to say they never were. Clearly, in their care, have allowed theft & damage to our boat.Instead of owning accountability asked us to just get boat.

  My husband ***** and I purchased a **** Jet sky with trailer for $5,500.00 cash/credit card no loan was needed.We were given the title to the trailer and was told they would mail us the Jet Sky title. My husband called several times in 2020 about the title each time they said they would investigate it.We only had use of the Jet Sky for 30 days on temporary license so the entire summer of 2020 we could not use the Jet Sky. The last call my husband made a call to them would have been in December due to my needing a *** number for personal property taxes. He said we never got the title.My husband caught Covid-19 the first of January 2021 and passed away February 10,2021. I spent months after his passing looking for the title to complete personal property tax form. I could not ask him what his conversation was with them in December. I never could find the title. In April 2022 I finally found the Surdyke folder for our Jet Sky purchase. In it I found a receipt for taxes paid. I thought well he must have licensed it so in April 2022 I went to DMV to get a duplicate title they did not have any records of the Jet Sky using the *** number on the temporary license. I was told to go back to dealer to have them resolve the title issue. I called them on April 7th and spoke to a woman who said they would need to submit a form for a lost title and told me it would cost $60.00. I waited over 8 weeks and called again this time speaking with a *********************. He said he is the person who handles difficult titles, and he would check on it and get back to me. Again, I waited a couple of weeks and called **************** back. He said they were in contact with the former owners. Long story short, they offered $4500.00 27 months later and 28 months later they lied to attorney generals office about the title and now getting into off season they will not be able to sell jet sky for as much. AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. They get 1 star only because I had to to fill out me experience

  ***** and *********************** purchased a Waverunner and Trailer with $2300 in cash and $3200 in credit card.Our Records indicate that both the trailer and waverunner titles were provided to the ***** family in June of 2020.In April of 2022 Surdyke Yamaha was contacted to help find a missing title for the Waverunner. As you know it takes some time to get duplicate titles and lien releases these days.My staff is getting that done as quick as possible. My Staff also offered to buy the Waverunner and trailer from ****** for $4500 which is a very fair offer going into the winter season.If Surdyke Yamaha was at fault for the missing title we would NOT have charged $60 for a duplicate and we would have offered 100% refund. Being a motor vehicle dealer for a long time we have a strict policy of NOT selling a vehicle without a clear title. We also keep good notes and records if a title gets lost or damaged while in our possession.I am very sorry for ******* loss and her inconvenience . I am also willing to raise the purchase back price to $5000 as a show of goodwill.Thanks **** Surdyke
