      I stayed at this resort for a conference on 8/27 - 8/30. When I checked out, I left behind several items in the closet. When I noticed my mistake, I contacted the hotel and was told by the front desk person that she could not assist me and that I'd need to call back in the morning and speak w/ housekeeping. I called back the next morning and was told by the person on the phone that it could take a couple of days for them to get out to the estates to clean and to call back in a couple of days. Given the state of the room I stayed in, I doubt they very thoroughly clean rooms to begin with. I asked if they could just send someone out to check and she rudely repeated that I needed to call back in a couple of days. Two days later I contacted the resort's housekeeping team again. I was asked to detail all items left in the closet. I stated that I could only remember specifically a couple of business suits but there were other items, a dress, a couple of blouses, etc. The person on the phone said that she would need to take my information and call me back after she looked more because she was unable to find my belongings. When I asked what the resort process was and if they bagged and tagged items left behind for easier retrieval she said they do not because people use the hotel for affairs. She then related a story of an angry wife that discovered an affair when someone else's belongings were found in her husband's room. I let her know that's not relevant to me and that I would like my belongings returned. She stated she would call be back once she'd tracked them down. 3 more days went by and I called again and was again told they'd have to call me back. Another 2 days and I called and left a voicemail for the *** who to date, has not returned my call. I just want my belongings back. It shouldn't be this difficult to have items that belong to me returned from this hotel of horrors. Additionally, service at this hotel was subpar as were the accommodations and restaurants.

      We have reached out to ******************** via phone and confirmed we had found several articles of clothing from the guest room she occupied. ******************** inquired about a navy blue H&M suit size 4 - and if it had been found as well. Our team conducted a second search through our lost and found storage and looked prior to her departure and several days after her departure to ensure there was not a storage mistake. Unfortunately nothing was found that fit that description. We have the other articles of clothing that were left behind and are being shipped to ******************** via Fed Ex at no expense to her.
