Finley River Towing responded to an accident scene to tow a disabled vehicle. They immediately hooked tow truck up to the vehicle before discussing the plan with anyone. They demanded $450 cash to tow the vehicle a few blocks away. When asked to drop the vehicle so we could call another tow company, they said that would also cost $450 cash. They ended up taking it to their tow yard so the insurance could settle and they could also collect on the storage fees.

I called AAA after a battery fire and they dispatched FRT to my location. When they arrived they took my car, and gave me no information. I live 120 miles away, so I call them to find out where they took it for the insurance adjuster, and I needed to retrieve some items. They made me drive to their office, 30 minutes from their tow yard to sign a release, only to find out they wouldn't let me retrieve my items without a copy of my registration or title. I had my loan info, insurance information, and license, but no go. My registration papers were in the burned car, so I had no idea of they survived. My loan company had my title, so I didn't have that at my disposal. Luckily after some aggravation I got my loan company to send me a copy of my title. When I finally got to my car, some items were missing, but I got a few things that I needed, but not everything because the stuff was gone. I figured it was covered in soot, so it wasn't a huge loss, and I wanted to be done with it, so I let it go. Then my insurer asked me to call FRT to release the car to them, of course, another headache. They again wanted my license, my title, and a release form.... this was less than 24 hours later. The next day we receive a certified letter and they were charging me over $1560 for a 7 mile tow and with one week of storage fees, my bill was over $2,000! I called them, and asked about it since I had AAA, and they insisted that they told me when they picked the car up that *** wouldn't cover it, but they did not. I have multiple witnesses to verify this. Regardless, a bill for over $2k for a 7 mile tow and a week of storage is highway robbery! I'm turning them into The Attorney General and BBB! DO NOT LET THEM TOW YOUR VEHICLE

Worst towing company I have ever dealt! They told me it was going to be $1200 to get my car back and it hadnt even been 24 hours yet and then tried to charge me additional fees for the weekend but they were not even open. After being told to leave the office because he didnt like the truth we still ended up paying a $1100 to get my car back and to top it off when he gave us the keys he told us that the car was still at the same spot 20 miles away they never even actually towed it anywhere because they had a tow yard right at the same spot so Im not sure why I needed to pay that much money when they never even had to tow my vehicle more than a mile!!!

My wife was in car accident she requested to take it to a place in ********. The driver from Finley river towing mislead her on the charges so they took it back to their shop. I called and spoke to the manager **** to get a release so insurance can get it. Of course, without checking it out we were wrong. Which means... Not the first time its happened. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

This accident call came in from the Christian County ************** We arrived on scene, loaded the customers vehicle, and the customer stated they wanted the vehicle taken to a shop in ********. Driver informed them they would be responsible for the bill for towing it up front. Customer refused to pay it. *********************** asked them if they had insurance. Customer stated they did in fact have insurance, driver advised them that they could take the vehicle to our lot and that the customer would file a claim and the insurance would then cover the tow bill so customer would not pay anything out of pocket. Customer agreed. Customer provided her insurance card as well as signed for the tow. Third party person called in later and claimed we mislead the customer and was screaming and yelling at our dispatch. This person was not at the accident scene and claimed we lied to her. No matter what the bill will need to be paid before the vehicle can be taken anywhere.

I wanted them to come out and get my car and out it on their flatbed to take it to my mom's house. When they were getting ready to show up *** Towing came out for some reason. I told *** to go away. Finley comes out and starts loading the car. They damaged my vehicle when they towed it. They scraped my vehicle a couple of times. I tried to talked to a supervisor but they were unhelpful.

Very poor drivers. One driver continues to not care about others on the road, he is constantly tailgating me or trying to run me off the road. I have attempted to contact the owner /manager several times via phone or email and nothing ever seems to be done. I have been a resident in the area for many many years and I have never witnessed a driver being so blatantly unconcerned for other drivers around him especially while towing another vehicle.

My daughters car was towed by Finley River Towing. It sat in their lot for 6 months before we were notified that the vehicle had even been towed. They had the nerve to demand twelve thousand dollars to get the car back before the car crusher came to destroy it. Spoke with the manager (******) who couldnt explain why it took six months to contact my daughter or myself about the car being in their possession. All he did state was, Im going to get paid. ****** also explained that after 30 days the car is his anyway. I asked how that could be when we didnt know it had been towed. He didnt care. I contacted an attorney who stated it would most likely go to court. So do you fight for a car worth six thousand dollars? Everything wasnt adding up, even though my daughter had just spent three thousand on an engine replacement. My daughter was not working and just had a child. I tried to explain to ******, but he just wanted to get paid for storing a vehicle that we knew nothing about it being towed. Worst towing company around. They drive like idiots, but what tow company doesnt. I wish they could be pulled from the tow company list for ******** and County. They are a dishonest company who just want to get paid.
