I purchased a car at ******* ********** which is part of the Dunlap Group on 2/14/24. The first thing, it had a sticker on the window with an all power warranty of the truck. They filled up the gas tank while I was filling out the paperwork. When they brought it back the stickers where off and the warranty was not on the sale anymore. They denied the warranty sticker was even on the car at that time. It only had one owner and low miles, so I purchased. I was driving it home from work. I heard a boom, and the engine started knocking real bad. I let them know about it, they told me that I bought the car with no warranty, so it was on me. I didn't have the truck one month. They told me I could bring it in and have their mechanic work on it. Their mechanic is not really a true mechanic. They said they worked on it for a couple hours, and they had no clue. They told me to come get my truck. I took it to my own mechanic. They told me the engine is toast. It will need to be replaced. ******* said they would look into getting a used engine from a used car lot. I found an engine, and I contacted *******. They said they were not giving us that much money. He said he would have to figure things out. He said he had a meeting, and he hung up on me. At this point, I would rather get a refund on the truck.
