I attempted to apply to college of the Ozarks in point Lookout Missouri, they refuse to make any reasonable accommodations or documentation submission modifications in accordance with the Americans with disabilities act and my disability of autism spectrum disorder. I attempted many times to speak with their ADA compliance officer ***** ********* and explain to her that I am unable due to a disability to do the higher math demanded in GED SAT CLT ACT and would be needing reasonable Accommodations. They refuse despite trying to get them other versions Of documentation proving that I have a qualifying disability from doctors notes or college transfer credits on an individualized education profile pass fail they also refuse to except and I have no the choice but to file a complaint hoping on the small chance that you will be able to help me as I would still like to attend but more importantly if they’re doing this to me they’re probably doing this to several other people with autism because of inadequate faulty standards and procedures and protocol. As much as I would like to attend I want them to update and amend their atrocious internal policies so that they do not do this to other people. I’m casting a wide net with a complaint with the department of justice as well to try and see if several complaints to the ADA office will allow them to help me in the way they are legally obligated to and I help other people.
