    I purchased a refrigerator about 4months ago from this store, First the ice maker broke, and now the is spoiling the food, they continue send technicians, but the refrigerator is is still not working, this refrigerator continues spoil my food. I have to replace eggs, cheese and milk. This is a ** product, I have paid 1500.00 for the refrigerator and I would like my money back to purchase a different refrigerator.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

     

    Thank you for your letter dated 1/6/2023.  

    ***** (our Customer Service Manager) has spoken to Mr. ******** about his concerns.  We have assisted to help rectify Mr. ********'s concerns.

    Attached please find a copy of the original purchase made on 8/11/2022.  The product purchased carries a one-year manufacturer warranty.  Three different technicians were dispatched from three different companies and none have found a problem other than the last technician stated Mr. ******** was apparently opening and closing the door too much, thereby allowing room temperature air to infiltrate the cavity.  The refrigerator doors must remain closed as much as possible, in order to stabilize the interior temperature.  The last technician discussed this with Mr. ********.

    If Mr. ******** has any further questions; he may contact ** Customer Service and they will help as needed.

    I purchased furniture and appliances for my whole house from this company. The sectional broke and it will not stay together. I reported to them and they never sent any one out and it has never been fixed. I reported this 11 months ago to them. They said I reported it too late. The washer went out. The company will not do anything and they are not helpful. I would like for them to stop misleading people.

    It is my information, various associates here have spoken to *** ****** in the past.  *** ****** resides in a very "rural" area which is a long distance from the store's location where he made the purchase.

    The appliance items purchased have a one year warranty provided by the manufacturer.  The warranty would have been in effect from 3/5/2021 to 3/5/2022.  To receive warranty service the customer has to contact the manufacturer within that time frame.  After the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty, the customer may seek service from any servicer of their choice.

    Home furnishing's warranties typically do not provide "in home service."  This is the case with the Catnapper Sectional purchased.  If the "broken" item referred to has a defect in "workmanship and/or materials, "the manufacturer will provide parts and labor to repair the item if it is shipped to their factory location which is in Tennessee.  This burden is placed upon the consumer to facilitate the repair.  However, in most cases the item can be returned to our retail location and we can coordinate the repair process without shipping to the factory.  The customer can return the item to the original purchase location or we can arrange for transport "at customer's expense" to and from the service location.  If it is determined that the item is "broken" due to "misuse and abuse" the costs of repair will not be covered by the manufacturer.

    If the customer would like to move forward with such repair service we would be glad to assist.  *** ****** may contact ***** or ***** at ************ to make arrangements.

    I bought kitchen table from them a month ago. The table has powder post beetles which are eating the wood. I spent $800 on it. I called the store and they are not willing to do anything about it. The store representative told me to contact the manufacturer. They said quite emphatically that they were not willing to take the table back or refund me. I have called the manufacturer and they are calling the store but the store was quite clear they were not going to do anything about it.
