      For the last 3 days I called my bank to block a debit payment for Car Check because I canceled services with them, but they still allowed the payment to go through. Car Check took out $79.99 although I had communicated with the bank to not allow the payment to go through. This caused my bank to be very low. After this happened I was told to file a complaint with the bank and I told them I was going to Better Business Bureau.

      We offered Mr. **** the option to cancel the debit card he used to subscribe to Car Check. We explained to him that canceling the card would be the only way to stop Car Check from charging his account, however he did not want to cancel the card due to other recurring payments. His account was charged by Car Check on 9/5/2023 for the $79.99. We filed a debit card dispute, and he was refunded $79.99 on 9/6/2023.
