    I simply ordered two sausage egg biscuits, a large coffee, a large iced tea, and attempted to order a large ice water. I was told I could not have the large ice water because the large cups were too expensive. I’m like I’m glad to pay for the cup. I was told the only way that I could do that was to pay for the price of a soda. So therefore, I just ordered two medium ice waters. The guy at the window was nice, but they handed us a sweet iced tea with just a few pieces of ice in it, which always happens here. I sent the sweet tea back and they sent me back out an unsweet and then I asked for a cup of ice, it was at this point that this little lady yells out the window to us, that we sure like to eat up her window time in the drive thru. I’m assuming it was a manager a little blonde headed young lady with a headset on, and I simply said, ma’am, if you would have gotten the tea right that would’ve cost less money than asking for a large cup of ice water on your part because you wasted money, having to throw the sweet tea away. Her response was a very, very rude thank you and have a good day and slammed the window in our face. Now mind you this is a little country town. I’ve never had anybody at a restaurant in this town act like this. Very inappropriate and very poor customer service, and very bad PR for Hardee’s in general. I don’t want anything free I don’t want a refund or a coupon. I don’t even want an apology, but I do think this young lady has no business working with the public, or she definitely needs some training how to work with people. I can go to other fast food restaurants and if they charge for icewater it’s usually .30 or .40 cents it’s not a big deal.

    We do have to charge for the large plastic cups that keeps us from wasting so much in paper.  The customer should not have been charged for the water.  Also, we should not have talked with the customer about our drive time.  That is not something they should not have heard.  That is our responsibility to take care of not the customer.  By all means come back and please ask for me directly my name is ****** *******.  If, they do come in ask for me and I will be looking into which employee did this.
