Dear Attorney General, I am writing to formally file a complaint against Coaches Field of Faith for wrongfully withholding my personal property. My situation is as follows: Due to significant health reasons, I was recently admitted to the ************************* in ****************************, ********. During my stay, my case worker, *****, contacted ***** at Coaches Field of Faith and arranged for my personal property to be delivered to Springfield. This arrangement was made under the understanding that my belongings would be transported to me promptly upon my discharge. Since my discharge, however, ***** has been unresponsive and has failed to provide a specific date for the return of my property. The agreed-upon date for delivery was today, July 8, 2024, but there has been no communication from Kelby or Coaches Field of Faith regarding the status of my belongings. Coaches Field of Faiths actions appear to be in violation of Missouris landlord-tenant laws and possibly federal laws protecting individuals with disabilities. Specifically: 1. Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 441 (Landlord and Tenant Law): This statute requires landlords to follow specific procedures for handling tenant property left behind and mandates that landlords provide reasonable notice and opportunity for tenants to retrieve their belongings. 2. Americans with Disabilities ************* a person with disabilities, I am entitled to reasonable accommodations. The failure to return my property promptly and the lack of communication could be seen as discriminatory actions that violate my rights under the ****

I made sure before I left Springfield I asked if he had all of his belongings to which he said yes and told him he is more than welcome to call or text me if he has any questions or concerns.

Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this situation.
