My son **** signed for Elite Total Fitness membership on March 6, 2024.
He used my credit card to pay.

He attended the club for 2 months.
Then he decided not to continue because the club facilities are extremely dirty.
He asked to cancel the membership.
A receptionist at the club replied that he will take care of this.
After April 2024 **** never visited the club.

But you club continues to charge my credit card every month.
    Please return money for May-December 2024 - $32.65 for 8 months - $261.20 and for January - March 2025 $42.15 fot 3 months - $126.45.
    Total is $387.65.

I have filed a dispute with the credit card issuer.
Business owner ** ****** ******* submitted to the credit card company FAKE list of **** visits to the club. Say, showing that **** was at the club even in 2025 while he never been there for many months.
Based on the fake info from business owner, credit card issuer disapproved my dispute.
Moreover, ** ******* claimed that **** never asked for cancelling membership.
    Which is lie.

Please help to stop this dishonest business to steal money from their customers.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/02/2025

    Good morning!

Attached are documents regarding **** ****** *******. Per the contract, it is the responsibility of the member to cancel membership with a 30 day notice.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/07/2025

The account has been closed, there is no outstanding balance. I have attempted to contact member to make arrangements, have not received any contact other than the communication through BBB with persistent false aquations and name calling.

Elite Total Fitness members have keytags that grant access to members, doors are locked to the general public. ****'s keytag assigned to him had been used at either the front or side door for access. Entry access reports are generated from the door scanner, through ABC Financial who does all of Elite Total Fitness billing and software.

It should also be noted that ABC Financial contacted member via phone calls and numerous emails before late fee's were applied. Again, conformation is in the contract that was signed.

As a company, we take pride in our customer service and try to admit when we are wrong, willing to take responsibility for our shortcomings. We have taken a loss of $201.25 after waiving late fee's and reinstating the account to a zero dollar balance. We wish we could have come to a different solution on better terms, but we will NOT continue to be berated with name calling and serious allegations being made.

    Thank you,

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

    Elite Total Fitness claims:

Attached are documents regarding **** ****** *******. Per the contract, it is the responsibility of the member to cancel membership with a 30 day notice.

    Is it a joke???

**** asked to cancel his membership many many times, from June till November 2024.

    Sincerely,

    **** ******
