I purchased 2 tickets to the Post ****** and Jelly Roll concert at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena for June 13, 2025. I left my hotel, which was 9 miles away from the venue, at 5.00pm. I did not reach the parking lot until 10:30pm on to be turned away by event staff because "all lots were full". The venue had standstill bumper to bumper traffic for miles and thousands of people missed most of or the entire event. Not only was i out the ticket price but the gas, food and lodging that was spent to go to the concert. The Venue has not issued a statement about the situation! I think they overbooked it, evidenced by the parking lots being full and hundreds of cars being turned away. I would like a refund from them, as I did not receive the service I paid for. I called the arena and was told to email the information to the venue 3 weeks ago and still no response. I have called the arena asking if they received my email and yes they had but no response. I was told that they would send a response that day still nothing from them. Called again days later and still nothing. This is so frustrating.Business Response

Hello and thanks for reaching out to us! I do not see an email from you to our Thunder Ridge team but we are here to assist however we can.
We are unable to look up your account since the tickets purchased were transferred to you (the original buyer sold them to you/transferred to you). We are only able to assist with a refund to the original buyer and if the tickets are purchased directly with our ticketing provider, Ticketmaster.
Because your tickets were purchased through a third-party, there is no financial transaction between you and Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. As such, we are not able to process a refund or issue a credit directly.
Please know that we are not dismissing your concerns. We genuinely wish there were more we could do on our end.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:I'm not sure what they are talking about a third party. I got my tickets directly from ticketmaster and they told me to contact the venue.

Hey ******!
In looking at your account, even though it was on Ticketmaster, it was part of Ticketmaster Exchange which is resale. We are checking on this with Ticketmaster for you to confirm if this is available for a refund to you (vs original buyer). Please email us at ******************************* and ********************************** (you can include both emails on one message) so we can continue to communicate and assist on this order.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the business' response regarding complaint ID ******** and I will accept the result simply because the insurance gave us our money back. No thanks to Thunder ridge. I'm just so disappointed in a large venue like that will not own up to any kind of responsibility for the traffic situation. I will not be attending anything at this venue and will let everyone know how you treat your customers and believe I'm not the only one saying this. I sure hope this complaint is left on your BBB website for everyone to read.
Sincerely,
Unsatisfied Customer

Subject: Refund ************* ****** Concert at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena (June 13, 2025)I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding my recent experience with the Post ****** concert held on June 13, 2025, at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. I purchased my tickets through Ticketmaster and had been looking forward to this event for months. On the day of the concert, I traveled over five hours to attend. Unfortunately, once I reached the vicinity of the venue, I was met with standstill traffic that lasted an additional five hours. Despite doing everything possible to arrive on time, I, along with countless other fans, was unable to make it into the concert due to the severe traffic congestion and lack of proper traffic and parking management. This was not just disappointingit was a complete waste of time, effort, and money. There was no communication or assistance provided regarding the delays or alternatives. After a total of *********************************************************************** see the performance I paid for.I am requesting a full refund for my ticket(s), as I did not receive the experience promised, through no fault of my own. I can provide any additional documentation required to support this request.I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.Sincerely,?Tara ********************************?Order Number: 69-33530/CH3Business Response

I purchased a $492.81 floor ticket to the Post ****** and Jelly Roll concert at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena for June 13, 2025. I left my hotel, which was 9 miles away from the venue, at 6:00pm. I did not reach the parking lot until 10:30pm. From there, I was turned away by event staff because "all lots were full".The venue had standstill bumper to bumper traffic for miles and thousands of people missed most of or the entire event. I wasted hours of my time and hundreds of dollars. I have attached a few screenshots of Thunder Ridge's ****** reviews- there are hundreds more with the same experience. Many are trying to pressure Thunder Ridge and/or Ticketmaster into issuing refunds. The venue does not have the infrastructure to host large events and they overbooked it, evidenced by the parking lots being full and hundreds of cars being turned away. I would like a refund from them, as I did not receive the service I paid for.Business Response

I attended the ************************* concert on the night of May 25th. When buying the concert tickets the venue said it was mandatory to buy a parking pass to park in the lots. After waiting in traffic to get in - come to find out they didn't check if parking was paid for at all. My Ticketmaster ticket to park was not scanned at all. People who hadn't paid got to park in the same place I did. Some people paid even more than I did.Customer Answer

I contacted Ticketmaster and they are going to refund my parking ticket money. Even though I think it is poor business practice by the venue, I'm content with the outcome now. You can cancel the complaint.
