    oct 29th i left my truck at this repair shop for them to replace the engine. they originally said it would take 3 days, then 6, then a week. i was stranded in this state for 2 weeks with little to no communication. they offered to pay for a flight home and they never did. everytime i went to the repai facility they were all "at an accident". its been 2 months going on 3 and i still dont have my vehicle. i get a text on christmas that my truck was gonna be delivered around new years, never happened. texted on new years day, they were snippy, told me not to demand anything and tried to cut communication

    The customer is right to an extent. This has taken a little longer than expected. That being said, we also explained to him that it would be a few weeks to get it done and he insisted on staying in a hotel. I understand that the customer was not from here and needed to get the truck running. After doing research and finding a motor with the mileage he wanted for the right price was going to be around $5,800 installed. I only charged him $4,200 to help him and his friend who were traveling out. When the motor came in, it was not the same as what had been advertised online. At that point, we sent the motor back and got the correct one shipped to us, and saved him an additional $1,500 on top of the previous savings we gave him. We let him know we would be sending him that $1,500 that was saved when we purchased the engine. Not to mention I am a 1 man shop. We had family issues during the holidays that caused us to have to travel out of state. I offered to drive the truck to ******* for the customer, free of charge, which is 14 hours from the shop location. So at this point, I feel that I have done the best I can for him, even though it has taken a little longer than expected. I still have treated him very fairly. We had it scheduled last week to deliver the truck and then we were hit by an ************ storm that pushed us back a week or so. Thank you and have a nice day.

    "Im still waiting on the truck. The business did call me the day I submitted the complaint. In fact I was yelled at by them. They did however apologize afterwards and we are now working toward getting the truck back to me as soon as possible. He will also be providing some cash back as well." Was able to get a hold of consumer and got this wording directly from them.
