      My wife and I gave ***************************** $4125 dollars to start a deck project to purchase materials. He took the money, never picked up the materials and then used the money to put down first months deposit on a rental property. I have contacted ****** 50 times without getting this resolved. ****** apparently has done this to SEVERAL home owners in ***** ******** and surrounding towns. I took out part of my 401k in order to pay for this ONLY allowed because I have a disabled family member and a ramp was to be included in the build.

      We hired ****** ******** on 10/12/22 to tear out our tub surround in the downstairs bathroom and build a tiled walk in shower with shower doors. He asked for $2100 and said he would go buy materials. He didn't come back for several days and started to demo the tub area, said he will need more money to buy more material, he asked for another $2100. Left said he was going to ****'s. After sizing up how the original dryer vent was routed out side he needed more money to move that, asking for $375. Said the materials he bought was at his house, he has some material here in our garage, and all the debris from the demo is in our garage. Insulation is hanging in the bathroom and we are unable to use that room. We want our money back to we can hire someone who will do the job and get the job done. We wouldn't mind for Mr. ******** to do the work but what guarantee do we have that he would even do it correctly or finish it. Today is 12/14, two months we have been waiting on him to come back and finish up. He has cashed all three checks. We signed a contract with him, we just want our home put back together.
