I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: The oil could not have been full, considering the new mechanic said it had not been serviced for sometime. I checked the oil myself and it was low. I put in a quart in between the day that I called him and the day that I brought it in. It still looked low. He told me that it was not low. This is obviously incorrect. How could it be low? If the new mechanic said that the car had not been maintenance for some time? Doesnt make sense. The truth is, they took my money and they didnt give me an oil change and for God knows how long it had been since he actually gave me an oil change. I had an attitude because I had already discussed the coolant. When I came back, he pretended like he didnt know what I was back for and proceeded to tell me I asked him 35 different things. No, I asked you a few different things. What is the knocking? What is up with my tire? Thats not 35 different things. My engine blew up because You obviously did not give me an oil change.

    Sincerely,

Car was serviced on 1/25/24   Full ************* change.  Next appt 08/23/24 7 months later Full synthetic oil change. Next appt. 12/17/24  full synthetic oil change.  Days prior to coming in for state inspections, mother called me stating that he was having car issues.  ****** came in for inspections, bulb in rear , check oil, and check coolant.   Oil level was full ,replaced bulb, did inspections, I forgot to check coolant level cause he had stated that he heard a knocking noise prior to my working on the car. ****** called me and asked if had checked the coolant level and i replied i had forgotten cause he told me all to do so quickly.  I replied come back and i will check it for you.  when he returned had an attitude with myself in front of customers.   I checked his coolant and added some at no charge.  He said if you dont want my business me and my mother will go elsewhere. I said ok.  I have been nothing but nice to ****** helping him when short of money as well. Whatever noise he heard before was present before i did the inspections.  As far as the mechanic saying it has not been serviced receipts we have show when the car was here and serviced.  I checked the oil the day he was here and level was good and not that dirty.   When car quit running they call and i replied that they were not coming here any more we were told, thats why we are at this point.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I will be taking him to court. He did not give me oil changes as he has claimed because the new mechanic told me that there was no way the car was serviced. I dont understand how you all can accept that. This is a correct answer and they Are in good faith. Are you kidding me?

    Its very obvious

I didnt have any steering wheel fluid. I didnt have any coolant. I didnt have any fluid in my car. I was receiving oil changes every three months and the car blew up. They obviously were taking my money and did not put oil in it. I dont understand how this could be answered in good faith. Can someone please explain this to me?

We have showed the service intervals that we have receipts. Service was always done as requested. There was a seven month gap that we did not see the car because ****** was out of state.  Also as stated before his mother called days prior to the appointment stating that He was having car issues.  If we had never serviced his car he would have had issues long before this time. Also servicing his mothers car with no issues as well. Things happen to engines , especially ******* and Kia.  I also have forty plus years of working on cars and my sons are ASE certified with schooling from ******************  No one knows except ****** what happened.  We had heavy snow fall, he could have gotten stuck and tried to get out.  But in the end we have done and charged the customer for the services we did like we do with every other person that comes to our shop.
