    Contemporary Refinishing reglazed my one piece shower and tub on 5/3/23. They stopped during the process when the owner called and said the paint was defective. They came back on 5/19/23 and finished the job. There are places that were missed and are very rough. They need to come back and finish the job. I paid $600 for this job and am not satisfied. The owner came back on 6/3/23 and said it looked ok and was supposed to have rough spots. There are areas that were missed. I was alone and wasn't going to argue with him.

    We re did the tub for a 2nd time and she is still not happy.  Also, there was a crack in the bottom of the tub and I repaired the crack for the customer.   So, now my worker will go out there Friday to buff out the rough spots.

    I am rejecting this response because:  The tub was not redone.  The first time it took almost 8 hours to do and the owner called and told the technician to stop because there was dirt in the paint and it was defective. The technician advised my husband and showed him where the tub was bubbled and said the whole tub should be smooth.  The second time the technician came out it took him less than 3 hours and he did not redo the tub. I called the owner who came out to look at it.  I showed him the spots that were rough and bubbled.  His answer was that it looked fine and he texted me later to put car wax on the tub which I rejected because it will create a slip hazard.  We would like to have the tub completely redone.  Buffing will take away the finish that we paid to have on it.  We are more than willing to get a second opinion from a competitor to see how it should be fixed.  If the job was done correctly, there would be no need to buff it out.  There were hairline cracks in the tub and that was the purpose of having the tub resurfaced rather than replaced per the advice of a separate contractor.

    Company has not come back out to redo the tub.  I am trying to get in contact with the owner.
