    My mother received a predatory "your warranty has expired" letter. She has dementia and is cognitively impaired. She fell for their predatory sales tactics and set up a policy. We have already contacted the bank and the bank has flagged the amount as fraud. The bank has not let the current payments go through. We have made a few phone calls to try to get this policy cancelled and we are told that we need to pay the balance in order to cancel our policy. She does not want or need this policy. If the company sees this we want this policy cancelled immediately and to be refunded the previous months she has already paid. The policy number is LSC84800238.

    2. Acknowledgement of Chargebacks: Regarding your request for a refund of the previous months already paid, please understand that the monthly payments were not processed due to chargebacks. As such, no refund is being processed, and the chargebacks will remain in effect.

    3. Removal from Call List and Marketing Campaigns: We have removed the recipient from our call list and marketing campaigns to respect your preferences.

    4. Cease All ****** Communications: We will cease all future communications to ensure your privacy and preferences are honored.

    I need the "policy" canceled immediately. Advantage Repair Auto LLC used deceptive advertising to trick me into purchasing a policy. I have already reported this to my bank. I demand the policy be canceled immediately and that I be removed from all systems. I also need to be removed from all advertising campaigns. I will pursue legal action if my policy is not canceled and I am not removed from all systems and advertising campaigns. According to BBB Code of Advertising, The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used. An advertisement as a whole may be misleading by implication, although every sentence separately considered maybe literally true. Misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact. In addition, according to the ************** statute 15 CSR 60-7.020(1): A seller shall not make a representation or statement of fact in an advertisement that is false or has the capacity to mislead prospective purchasers.BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging misleading advertising, failure to make repairs, failure to cancel the contract and poor customer service.On June 15, 2021, ******************** sent a letter to Advantage Repair Auto LLC with its concerns. The company did not respond.
