    INTEGRITY, INTEGRITY, INTEGRITY, WHAT A CLEANING AND RESTORATION COMPANY!The Bales Restoration Company is the best team of people I've ever had the experience of working with. They restored my carpets and looked out for my best living interests. I called the company for water damage to my basement carpets due to my Sump Pump Failure. The pump could not hold our torrential rainfall on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Therefore, water came into my basement from the outside walls, which *** explained to me. I was unaware of the damage on Wednesday, but on Thursday evening, I began smelling an odor from the basement and discovered the carpets were drenched with rainwater. I called the Bales Company on Thursday evening around 8:00-9:00 p.m. with a "control panic"!****** offered to send a team to my home that night. However, I told her I could wait until Friday morning. At 8:00 a.m. sharp, my telephone rang, with *** admonishing me that he would be at my home within the hour, and he was. He surveyed the water damage on the carpets and walls and thoroughly explained what needed to happen if the carpet could not be restored. But his first order of business was to try to fix my basement and keep it at its usual standard before the rain, as the Bales Cleaning and Restoration Company was able to do.On Friday evening, *** called to inform me he would send a team out on Saturday or Sunday to begin the restoration process. When the day seemed to be getting away from the company on Saturday, I received a second call about whether they would be able to come on Saturday or Sunday Morning.A team came out Sunday morning to access the carpets and gave me the best news ever! They restored my basement by drying the carpets and walls with their equipment. I needed to elaborate on each specific detail of this company to solidify why I began with "Integrity, Integrity, IntegrityWHAT A CLEANING AND RESTORATION COMPANY!" My rating for this company is FIVE STARS PLUS!!!

    We hired Bales to update our kitchen. The kitchen Island and countertops were not sealed correctly, and everything has fallen apart. The site supervisor arrived to look over the issues and became very irate and rude when I explained what was happening to the work his company completed in our home. He yelled and said we were jumping on the island countertop which caused the island to fall apart. We don't have any small children who live in our home, and we are a very mature couple who would never jump on islands or counters. Who jumps on an island? We thought we would be able to compromise on ways to resolve the issue. He entered our home with a very negative approach. He didn't try resolve the issue or make this matter right. He kept yelling about being in the business for 30 years and he "KNOWS" when people are "jumping" on islands and counter tops.He was extremely loud and unprofessional, which is not a way to run a successful business. We were initially pleased with work Bales had done; however, we just wanted the site supervisor to review our concerns and come to an agreement to correct the issues.

    If only the review was accurate. On 06-09-2020 Bales was contracted by *************************** to install counter tops and backsplash she had purchased from the local Menards store. We submitted an estimate for our Labor and agreed upon the amount. On 07-01-2020, we entered into a contract and collected a 50% deposit for the contract amount to hold a spot in our schedule. Countertops were ordered by the Homeowner. On 10-08-2020, the job was completed fully and a Certificate of completion and Satisfaction was signed by *************************** on that date and final payment was collected. On 04-19-2023, Bales received a call for warranty work by ****************. At that time, he was told that it would be at least two weeks before we could get the Production manager out to look at this. A time was set for 05-01-2023. At that time, I  went out and upon inspection, the Island counter top had been ripped of the cabinet. The under side of the counter top frame was still attached to the cabinet. At that time **************** was asked who sat on the top or lifted up from the overhang. **************** seemed to be insulted and raised his voice that this was normal wear and that he had no children or any body that would stand on the countertop. I then asked who lifted up the edge to break it off the counter top. Once again **************** acted offended, and I explained to him that I would not stand here and argue. I would just leave. He then became very irate and started yelling that I was not going to solve his problem or work with him. There was no warranty or craftmanship wrong here. So there was nothing Bales was liable for.  I stated you need a new counter top and that we did nothing wrong with our installation and I left the residence.  We here at Bales will not stand there and argue with a customer.
