    My wife and I hired this company in December, 2021. He was going to make some major repairs on the existing house that were determine via a home inspection. We put money down, $9000. He wanted at least half. We gave him another $5000, on 1/2/22.We gave him the rest of it when our house in ****** sold, $4000 on 1/31/2022. He had started some work, more things were added to the punch list. We gave him another $47,000 on 3/17/22. An additional $1400 was for flooring on 3/24/22. There were also some roofing trusses, $12,300 on 4/6/22. The last check I wrote was for $10,000 on 5/30/22 for roofing materials. In my estimation he has completed about 20% of the work; there is more demo than rebuild. We have paid out a total of $79,475.60 which I can document. He left the project in June 2022. I have tried contacting him multiple times. He also left two malnourished horses on our property which he did come and get. He sent a worker to come get them. He had his workers pull all the equipment here and leave and that was also in June of 2022. I sought legal advice to pursue this. they directed me to BBB.

    We hired Gene * paid half (**** dollars) to run a drainage system from the house down across our driveway. He sent young men to do the job and seemed to not know what they were doing. The edge of the roof was damaged with a small excavator while he was digging s trench. The guys did about half of the job and left about 5pm and never came back to finish the job.We called Gene ********************** several times to get him to finish the job.
