  We call Galmiche for seasonal ********** on air conditioner. Galmiche service *** came out to clean and inspect unit. *** said he checked the unit but don't check the capacitors, also he didn't clean the condensing unit. 19 days later my air conditioning was out on one of the hottest days so far. Reason was it had a badly swollen capacitor. If he had saw how bad it looked he could have been ***laced then.

  On 6/4/25 Galmiche and Son's service technician went to Mr. Taylors house to clean and check the air conditioner. All electrical components were checked and operating properly at this time. The outdoor unit was in fact cleaned properly as well. Mr. Taylor's air conditioner is from 1998 (27 years old) and manufactures life expectancy on and air conditioner is 20 years. All service was done properly by Galmiche and Sons, unfortunately Mr. Taylor's air conditioner could not withstand that current temperatures in our area. It's unfortunate to receive a bad review from a customer where proper service was performed, but at no fault to Galmiche the 27 year old air conditioner had gone out a short time later. Below are the notes from our service technician after the service was done.
  
  "Checked furnace filter Cleared condensate drain line to remove any clogs.. Inspected blower motor and housing. Checked the capacitor. Cycled system on, checked refrigerant level for air conditioner. Pulled the amp draw for compressor and condenser fan motor. Checked all low-voltage safeties and electrical connections. Rinsed condenser coil to remove dust debris and dander."

  They screwed up our unit multiple times and then wanted to charge us for the problem. The last time they were here was august of 2022, the ***************** from their office proceeded to call me today saying that I owe an invoice for 450 dollars. I tried explaining to him that I didnt owe it. He then proceeded to talk down to me, followed by yelling at me and then hanging up on me. Absolutely horrible customer service. I have since had another company take over servicing our unit and have had absolutely no issues with it. Makes me think Galmiche and sons is doing something shady for sure.

  Galmiche and Sons installed a new system for ************** in 2015 and have done our yearly maintenance on the system since. The only issue that arose was a leak in the evaporator coil from the manufacturer. The Evaporator Coil itself was still under warranty which we honored, but we were outside of the labor warranty, therefore the agreed upon flat rate charge to replace the coil under warranty is $450.00, that is still due from **************. The implication that Galmiche and Sons is "Doing Something Shady" is an unfortunate accusation that is untrue as we honored all warranties and services since 2015. Galmiche and Sons always stands behind their work and will continue to do so.

  I used to think this was the best company until the dispatcher, ***** ****** showed how rued and ignorant he could be. On 4/20/22, I made appointments for 3 different systems to get maintenance. ****** was so rude, I called back and cancelled appointments. He had the nerve to call me back for a reschedule and I told him I hired someone else. I will never use this company ever again and my family and friends wont use them either.

  I had a new A/C unit and air handler replaced by ***************************** The work had to be done in a very tight area They worked all day without missing a beat The job also involved my electric panel box They got the job done They also assisted me with payment options Job well done
