      9/3/2024
Management (**** *****) spoke with ***** ******** mother, co-buyer, ****** ***** and offered and agreed to buy vehicle back less sales tax that needed to be collected for the original purchase. ****** ***** wanted her money back since she wrote the check and there was a dispute going on between mother, ****** ***** and daughter, ***** ******.

****** came in and signed all the paperwork required earlier in the day, ***** came in later in the day to return our loaner and sign her paperwork.
The vehicle was fixed and ***** decided to take the vehicle rather than us purchasing the vehicle back. We indicated to her that if she took the vehicle back, there was not going to be further repairs made in good faith for anything else, that she owns the car, it is her responsibility. She understood that, and drove the vehicle off the lot.

The phone calls she is referring to started coming back in around late November/early December, she was not ignored, she was told the same information that we told her above when she decided to continue ownership of the vehicle rather than taking advantage of our offer to purchase the vehicle from her at that time.

We will be happy to assess the value of her vehicle in it's current condition and give her above market value (based on the current condition) towards the purchase or lease of another preowned or new vehicle from us.

I took my Indian motorcycle to Munganest Honda for a seasonal service. The service included an oil change. At the "completion" of the service, i was called to come pick my bike up. I rode from the shop to the zoo. I spent a few hours at the zoo with my grandson then we were going to have dinner. When i turned the motorcycle on, it had a loud ticking noise. I called my brother and he said it sounded like it was out of oil. He told me how to check the oil and i did what he said. There was no oil on the dipstick. I immediately called Munganest and spoke with *****. He began to tell me that there was oil in the bike and i was mistaken. I told him I was on my way back to ********* so they could look at it for themselves. When I arrived the motorcycle was not ticking but did begin ticking again shortly after I sat there for a few seconds. ***** pulled the dipstick out of the bike and said "yeah...its a lil short on oil. You should leave it here so we can check it out". I felt uneasy about the situation so I decided against that. I rode the bike back to my job and had a friend come tow it to another Indian dealership for me. After inspection, they concluded that my bike was at least 3.5 quarts short on oil and my lifters (front and back) were destroyed. The lack of oil was the cause of this destruction. I reached out to ********* to tell them of the issue. Days later i got a call from ************************ who told me he had video of the service being performed on my bike and he saw ***** put 6 quarts of oil in my bike. I told him that was not possible because I dont know anything about motorcycles that is why I take it to the dealer. He refused to take responsibility for the situation. I have a warranty on my motorcycle so the damage was covered under my warranty, they can argue with them. However, I paid them to destroy my motorcycle and I would like a refund of all monies paid please.

      *****,

We are very sorry you had a bad experience in our service department. Although we do not believe a lack of oil fill by our technician was the cause of your issue we would like to make it right. In order to resolve this issue we are willing to offer you a refund for the oil change. We are happy to mail a refund check to the address listed within the complaint.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The proposed resolution plan was executed between February 5, **** and February 6, **** by **** Mungenast St. Louis Honda and the vehicle fixes were accepted by me (*****************************) upon car delivery on February 6, ****.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

reapply the new one (preferred resolution). After our request, the dealership offered to reimburse the $16.00 paid for the product. I did not take that offer.Shortly after, I submitted a complaint to American Honda ********** **** describing the problem and requesting the same resolution options as we did to the dealership. They registered this on Case# ********. On December 5, 2023 they replied the following "At this time, we do apologize it appears 08703-NH830M-ES is the official color for your Honda Pilot. We recommend staying in contact with the dealer to acquire further assistance."Understanding that this is a product quality issue by selling a paint that does not match the color from their vehicles out of the factory, American Honda ********* does not sell directly to consumers, therefore we are unfortunately forced to submit this complaint against the dealership.
