I had work done on my car 2003 ****** Maxima sedan on April 22 and they finished on May 30. It still didn&#**;t seem like the car was repaired correctly. I know something isn&#**;t right. I spent $4500 on the repairs. It shakes and when I&#**;m parked at the intersection, it takes a second before I can take off. The parts replaced on my car look used. I would like a refund.

I apologize for the delay in responding as we were closed for vacation beginning 6/27/25 at 6:00pm until 7/7/25 8:00am.  After reviewing the complaint and looking at all the detailed the customer never contacted us by phone, email, messenger or even bring the vehicle back for us to look at.  The vehicle was originally brought to us on 4/22/25. We checked out the vehicle explained what needed to be repaired and explained that we would need a deposit before we could order the parts.  He came back on 4/23 and put a deposit down and told us it would be a few weeks before he would have the remaining balance.  He called about 2 weeks later stating he had the remaining balance and to go forward with the repairs.  We explained it would be about a week before we could put the vehicle back on the schedule.  the vehicle was completed on 5/22 and we called customer to let him know.  We called several more times and eventually told hin we would start charging storage if not picked up.  He came in on 5/30 was told he needed an alignment, paid balance and left. Again we have not heard anything from the customer until now 30 days later.  We will not offer refund and if there is indeed an issue we would be more then happy to take a look at it.  He can call us at ************ to schedule an appointment for us to check it out.

    Thank You

I am rejecting the business's response because:

it took them a month and they kept procrastinating about the issue.  I spent $4500 on this car.  He put old parts on the car.  The only new part that looked new was the catalytic converter and the pulleys.  I think he should reimburse me.  I called him several times.

Customer brought vehicle in on Feb 29, 2024 (mileage ******) for what she said was needed a catalytic convertor. When the Tech checked out the vehicle it was found it also needed Fuel pump, brake lines and injection cleaned along with window washer repair.  We called customer on Mar. 1st and went over everything.  She came in Mar 5th with a fuel pump and made a partial payment of $650.00.  We completed the work on Mar 8th and left a voicemail.  She came in on Mar. 11th paid the remaining balance at which time we explained that she needed to put fresh gas in and drive the vehicle.  Customer had vehicle towed in on 6/12/24 (mileage ******) without an appointment.  She stated won't start, window wipers not working and blinkers not working.  Tech checked out vehicle on 6/21 and found fuel pump failed due to old fuel and non-driving.  As you can see from the mileage, she only put 83 miles on vehicle.  Tech also found brittle wiring, fuel injectors and throttle body needs to be resealed. Found instrument cluster be repaired, wiper motor going out and turn signal switch is bad.  Called customer on 6/24,6/25, 6/26, 6/27 left voicemail.  We called again on 6/28 left voice mail and mentioned that the shop will be closing at 5:00pm for vacation and will not reopen until 7/8 at 8:00am.  We replaced the fuel pump and repaired wiring.  Manager called customer on 7/23 got no answer, left message.  Receptionist called customer on 7/29 told her truck was running and drivable and told her the total and explained to her the other things the truck would need.  She then proceeded to yell at receptionist and demanded to speak with Manager.  He tried to call her back and got no answer.  Our tech called on 7/25 and she answered and said she was busy and will call back later.  Receptionist called on 7/30 twice and both times sounded like she answered but did not speak. 7/31 called customer again and she stated she was at doctors and would have to call back then hung up.  On 8/1/ Manager and customer came to an agreement about the balance.  Manager agreed to credit her $26.99 off parts and waive diagnostic time. (credit of $253.76).  Customer called back and tried to negotiate more and yelling at receptionist, so she hung up.  Our receptionist did not deserve to be talked to like that.  Customer came in later accused manager of stealing and he explained to her again that the tech threw away her fuel pump that we took out, and that was why he gave her the credits.  Tech did not realize that customer supplied the fuel pump and since there is no core charge it is standard procedure to dispose of removed parts. She proceeded to start yelling at manager, so he told to take her car and leave.  It has been brought to our attention from a neighbor of hers that once ******* got home with the vehicle, she parked it and has not driven it or started since.  ******* never called back to say she was having any additional issues.  As you can see from the dates all this transpired 6 months ago.  We gave her a credit of more than the $109.00 she is now asking for and the vehicle was in running condition when she left.

I sent a 2008 Cadilac STS to A Plus Auto Care August of 2023. After waiting until January of 2024. I decided to call and ask for my car back because I hadn't heard anything about it. I was told by the owner that the car was finished and ready to pick up. Which it was not because a couple of days later the car was not drivable due to the same issues that were supposed to be fixed. i took the car back and a week later they told me that the car was fixed and i had the same problem not even a day later. I paid this company $1,719.60 and they still have my car now every time I call them I am told that the owner is not there and they are giving me the run around. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR MY CAR FIXED.

I am rejecting this response because:

This is not accurate I only missed a call from this business once which I returned a call the following day. I was told on the phone by a woman on the phone that, there was an issue with the valve body and that it need to be replaced. This is the exact same thing that I was told the second time I brought the car back. Second I only drove the car 2 time, to different days so I did not bring the car back ******************************************************* a few days and this is not even a primary vehicle. Lastly I called on 4/22/24 and asked to speak to the owner that is not a threat. This company claims to have reached out with no response but this is also a false statement. Why would someone give a company their money and not answer the phone?

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: The statements given by this business are completely false, I have documentation to confirm my claim. I need a definite deadline on when my vehicle will be ready, or I need my vehicle and a refund so I can take it to a different auto shop because this has been since August of 2023.

    Sincerely,

A + **** care has obtained funds from me and my insurance company without completing the work and returning my car to me. They have had my car since July 27,2023. I contacted Carshield and they have informed me that they have paid for the repairs for my car on 10/09/2023 and that I supposedly signed this paper but I have not signed anything. Someone has forged my signature. I would like to have my car fixed and returned back to me and to stand behind the agreed worked.
