This review is for the Midas located at ***************************************************. Regrettably, I must express my dissatisfaction with this establishment, as I experienced a series of unfavorable events. My vehicle's muffler hanger failed a block from this location, making it the nearest option. Following a wait exceeding three hours, the staff began moving my car into the garage, during which the employee's actions caused the complete detachment of the muffler. The on-duty manager, ****, assured me of a resolution, initially suggesting a special order for a replacement muffler. Despite my persistent follow-up inquiries regarding the muffler's arrival, I received repeated apologies and promises of a call once the part was available. Two weeks ago, I visited the Midas location on ************ to inquire about the status of my muffler. Upon arrival, I was informed that **** was no longer employed there. A young man at the front counter retrieved the district manager, *****, for me. ***** requested my phone number and said **** subsequently documented in the system that I had declined the exhaust repair each time I checked on the muffler's arrival. Subsequently, I attempted to present ***** with my visual voicemail as evidence that I had not declined to repair the muffler, despite the circumstances surrounding its detachment. However, he responded with anger and disregard, declining to consider my explanation. Following this, despite repeated attempts to contact the corporate office and leave messages, I have yet to receive a response. Consequently, I may need to explore legal avenues to address the muffler repair, even though the resolution could be straightforward. I am currently experiencing a degree of dissatisfaction, as I had placed considerable trust in ****** assurance regarding the resolution of the muffler issue caused by his employee's error. My understanding is that a commitment holds significant weight.

2/3/2025 Midas ************************* ***** Brought my car here to get an inspection. While standing outside with another customer to get our vehicles, the ******************** employee was backing my car out while another Midas employee was backing the other customer's car out, they crashed into each other. The Manager on site was the General Manager ***** *****. He came out very apologetic and admitted they were at fault. He gave me the company they use for estimates and said they will get my car repaired. I told him I want it in writing that they are at fault. His statement is as follows, We are at fault for the accident caused on our lot by our technicians. We will have the vehicle looked at by a body shop to ger an estimate and take care of repairs. He gave me his personal cell number. I took my car to Caliber Collision (who ** ***** ***** said to go to) and emailed both the manager ***** and the ** ***** ***** the estimate. No one returned a response to my email. I called countless times on the number ***** ***** provided ********************. I left voicemails and text messages. He has never answered or returned my calls or text. I called ***** at Midas and he was so apologetic about the situation. ?? He said the estimate was sent to ** ***** who then sent it to corporate and corporate said it was too high and they need another estimate. These people are CROOKED and LIARS. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Not one time has anyone from ******************** called me.

I took my car to this Midas for them to diagnose s simple rattling sound I could here as soon as I moved the car. The manager and his mechanic told me that I needed to have new brakes and rotors on the back end of the, I told the manager that I didn't want to spend $486.80 on the car unless their option was the only way to stop the noise. He assured me that the brake replacement was the only solution for the noise. I approved the work to be done. After I paid the bill, I was about to leave when I heard the same noise from under the car that I brought it in for. I had not moved the ten feet. The mechanic again put the car on the rack and noticed a shield over the muffler had come loose and needed to be reattached. That's when the mechanic said he would remove the new brakes and put back on my original brakes which the manager agreed to do until they called the owner whom they said refused to authorize that or give my money back. So for I'm out of $480.00 for a $50.00 job I estimate at the most. I did not need new brakes. Terrible customer treatment and lack of mechanical knowledge. Will go back to the dealer for service from now on. Don't use this place unless for warranty work.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! IF THEY TRY TO UPSALE YOU TELL THEM NO AND TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!This is just terrible! I went in April 18th, 2024 for an innocent oil change. I had no known issues with my car, no dash lights nothing. During the oil change *** noticed I needed a new drive shaft and asked if I felt anything unusual, I told him nothing too bad but we went ahead and had it fixed. During that time I had my rear brakes and rotors replaced.A week later I notice my ABS, traction control, and another light pop up. Since this $1200 repair my car has ran and drove like complete c*** I took it in May 18th to have them look over what the cause might be. The man working, Im assuming the manager told me my battery has hardly any voltage left so they need to replace the battery before looking at my repaired driveshaft, etc etc!?!? I said no, the battery is fine. This wasnt an issue a month ago when I forked out $1200 to repair said issues. He said well Im sorry I cant do anything else unless you purchase a new battery. This is the biggest con scheme Ive ever witnessed. My vehicle was fine before their mechanic touched my car and now all these issues pop up and they want me to purchased a $350 battery from them to see why im having these issues.Side note; when I received all the work, I had to call them on my way home to make sure they even changed my oil because there was no sticker stating my mileage since last service on my windshield. This just shows you where their priorities are; making money on unneeded repairs. Avoid taking your vehicles here for oil changes/ inspections so you dont need to deal with this nightmare Im going through!Update May 19th: Day after they checked it out putting the vehicle on their lift, my passenger front is leaking brake fluid and my wheel is burning up. This is a nightmare from h***

I wish 0 stars was an option. This location took advantage of me. They said they ran a diagnostic which I never got a print out ****** said it was my catalytic converter. Nearly $2000 later i picked up my car. When i picked it up they said they noticed a crack on my manifold but it wasnt a big deal. They said they brought it up to my father when he went to pay but when I asked him he said they never brought it up. Why didnt they catch that before? Thinking everything would be fine i left only to find the exact same issues occurring. They fixed something that did not need to be fixed and Im convinced they damaged my manifold. I want my money back.

I wish there was an option to post 0 stars. Long story short, I brought in my car to get an alternator replaced and the Midas team was very accommodating and was able to fit ** in on a Saturday afternoon to get it fixed quickly as we were from out of town. Well, in their haste to get the job done, the technician punctured a hole in the radiator, causing the car to overheat and crack the engine block later that night. When confronted about it, the manager said they would do right by ** and check the security cameras to ensure the mechanic actually did puncture a hole in the radiator, and if they did, they would make sure we got reimbursed. I never saw the video footage and when I asked the owner, he said that he didnt know why the manager said we had cameras, because we dont. Now Im out $6,000 because my regular mechanic had to completely rebuild the engine. Stay far, far away from this Midas, people.

If it were possible to give ZERO stars I would. I dropped off my car on a Thursday. It needed a wiper fluid motor. They had my car until the end of the closing day on Saturday without doing a thing. I heard three different stories as to when they received the parts. The excuse for Saturday was that an employee did not show. Friday AND Saturday they knew it wasn't going to get done. Nobody called me. I had to call them. Only to get lied to. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle on Saturday it was not even in the Midas lot. It was parked next door in a lot, next to the dumpster located next to the alley. That was at the very least two full days of my time without my car. While they promised it would be done. Instead they put me on the back burner. This was my third time here in the past three months to have work done on my car. Including buying new tires. THIS WILL BE MY LAST!
