    On August 8th, 2023, I purchased a battery for my lawn tools. Their technician was to open the casing and insert the battery. I picked up the battery about a week later. When I placed the component in the tool it barley ran, so I assumed it need to be recharged. I placed the battery in the charger it blew out my charger. I returned the battery case and insert to the store, and they checked it out said they had either put the wrong battery in the container or crossed the switches. At that time, they credited my credit card and promised to put a new battery in the battery container. They said I was out of luck on my charger being ruined. I came back about four days later, and they said they could not replace it. I asked that they put a new battery in my other container, and they refused. The Manager said it was my error and that I had put the battery in the charger backwards. This is IMPOSSIBLE because the manufacturer made the product so you could only put the battery in the charger the correct way. I am now out a charger and a ************** because their failure. I want them to put the new battery in the casing, as originally promised, at no charge as they originally said they would do.

    On behalf of Batteries Plus, we thoroughly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, as we pride ourselves on superior customer service, above all else.  Regardless of cause, we would be willing to provide a new battery at no charge, in addition to the attached full refund we have already provided to the customer.

    When Batteries Plus has provided me with the new battery as promised in their reply I will be satisfied.  Give me some time to deliver battery case to them so they may put a new battery in it. Thanks for your help. ****
