      So looks like my family isnt the only one having issues with these people. My mom and I applied for a car loan through them she was supposed to be a co signer. They went behind our backs removed me and just and her on there. Now my mom is disabled as am I but she has hard time getting around we told these people this. But this was just the start. They never did anything to ever try to help us at all, all these years I was paying the loan and yes I was paying they took the money directly out of my account every month because despite what they did behind our back its still my car. But I never had a say on my car because of them s******* us over they kept saying my disabled mother whom we kept telling them couldnt get out had to go too them to do things it was one mess after another with these people fighting over and over. They wouldnt talk to me but even when mom called them they still never helped her either this hole ordeal has been mentally draining on both of us big time. Well finally here I paid my last payment which was only so much but they took out the whole amount and one again we are fighting with them. They are refusing to give me my money back they stole from my account. My mom called they wanted her yet again to go there but for umpteenth billionth time we told them shes disabled. Finally I called and yelled. Told them u wont talk to me but yet you arent helping my mother either and I have bills to pay and I need my dang money they dont care. If it was them we would get threatened. But refuse to give me my money back they stole from me.. so I need help getting my money back now and if they wont help us hopefully this will.

      This credit union hasnt always been the best around but the customer service seems to be getting worse. Today, I sat on hold for over an hour to ask about my debit card (being that my current one is about to expire). The call said 7 people in line. It took over an hour to get through 7 peopleWhen the call was finally answered, i said thank you ************* was on hold for over an hour ******* seemed annoyed that I mentioned it, ******* was dismissive, unapologetic, and tried to hastily push me off the phone without ever looking up my account to tell me about my individual debit card. After asking about MY individual account, she looked it up and repeated her answer and then rushed me off the phone. I didnt want to take up a lot of time but also didnt wait over an hour to be told when debit card usually go out. I was very polite as I usually am. But have these kind of run ins make me want to move my account. *** already moved all of my lump sums to Navy Federal CU with half of my payroll deposit split between neighbors and navy federal. But at this point, it seems best to move my full direct deposit over to my other accounts. I have 4 credit unions NF CU, Neighbors, Together, and SLCCU. None of them have treated me as poorly as Neighbors credit Union. If you are seeing this and looking for an account, this is your warning PICK A DIFFERENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

      We also want to apologize for the lack of empathy and "personal touch." With every member interaction, we aim to live our brand of being easy, trustworthy and lifechangingthis did not happen.


      Your call has been reviewed by the agent, the agent's managers, a member service coordinator, and two senior-level managers. We will continue to monitor performance to ensure that every team member is executing high service standards.

      Not sure where to start with this review. I'm still in shock. Several weeks ago we applied for a small loan to purchase a used car. Once we were approved we proceeded to look for a car. It was difficult finding a car for **** which is what we asked for so we called back to see if we could get more. We're on a fixed income and the higher amount was denied so we kept looking for a car for around ****. BTW we checked earlier to see if our loan was still good and was told we had until the 20th to use the loan before having to reapply. Finally the day came. We found a car. It was 900 over the loan amount which we were prepared to pay, however the loan officer stated she would see if she could get the 900 financed. Off we go to pick up our car because at this point we're only waiting for an answer on 900. Much to our surprise we're at the car dealership and get a call that they (Neighbors Credit Union) changed their mind and decided not to give us a loan at all. Shocked doesn't begin to describe my reaction after all the loan was approved 3 weeks now just waiting for us to find a car. We've been with neighbors 30 plus years. You'd think if they changed their mind they had time to tell us before we got to the dealership and sat in front of our salesman. The reason they gave was debt to income ratio. "You have a good score but you debt to income ratio is too high. Aren't you suppose to make that decision during the loan process. Our debt to income ratio had improved since the loan was approved because we had paid on our debt and had no new charges. Neighbors you need to do better.

      The neighbors I know is consistently understaffed, has an archaic (at best) app, and hardly any atm access. Plus when you call they can't give you answers because the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. They advertise atms in your co-op but then charge when folks who need them use them. Shame on them. The place is a mess.
