I hired **** ******************** in November 2022 to do some electrical work on my commercial kitchen hood/ makeup air unit heater. He assessed the job and gave an estimate, which was $1275 (parts, etc). We agreed that I paid $675 first to cover part expenses and he would receive the remaining after the job was complete. After relentlessly trying to reach out to him (He did not answer his calls or messages I sent to him- claiming he was busy with other projects) he finally contacted me back but he could only work on a Saturday. I had personal engagements since it was last minute and weekend schedule, so I left him the rest of the check ($600) and a spare key so he could finish his job. Mr. ******************** informed me later that day that he was missing a part and he could not complete the assigned task. He still managed to deposit the check I had written him. He told me that he was going to buy the missing piece and I waited for him to contact me when it came in. I had made several attempts to reach out to him again and he mysteriously disappeared. After another week had passed, he finally contacted me to let me know the part was in and that he would install it.Mr. ******************** told me that another guy was going to install the final piece because he was "sick" and that I was responsible for paying the other guy separately. I was unsure on why I had to pay additional cost when we came to an agreement. I hadn't heard from Mr. ******************** since he received his money. Not only did he over charge me (I received some quotes from other electricians), he had no integrity for his work or company. He wasted my money and delayed me from opening my business. There are better electricians out there. If you come across **** ******************** of Thomas Maintenance Systems, avoid. There are better electricians out there with reasonable prices.
