  ****************** Aug 12th ***************************************** **********. Not a fancy area at all. from this company. Brought with me a copy of my credit Score which is 714 and 10 years of References from Current landlord of 6 years along with former landlords. The Rep from the company **** seemed a nice guy. However as soon as i told him I had a 2 bedroom voucher from Hud. He came out and said sorry we don't deal with them. I said they pay the same amount what you asking for this Property. And he try to label me. Because he said he had a bad experience with some supposedly 2 years ago. And I said Sir. I bet that person didn't have a Credit Score of 710 10 years worth of landlord references and current landlord reference of 6 years. So basically he was comparing me to this person. And I'm like ***** you realize this is St. *** not West County in my mind. I brought with me copies of my Driver's license copies of my rental record of 10 years. I been with the housing authority over 15 years in St. Louis County. So when this guy started saying stuff. I new he was full of **. He talked about the hud inspection process how difficult it was and everything under the sun. I know he way lying to me. But I just listened to him talk and ramble on. My advice stay away from this company they apparently also have bad reviews from current Tenants as well. Which is a red flag maybe I should brought that up to Mr. **** and Judged them a little bit. Stay away from Front Porch Properties off of Gravois. They apparently have a problem doing business with the government. Which tells me they probably doing some shady stuff. Which is why they don't accept housing vouchers. Hope this helps the next person. From ****

  We finally got out from this terrible company . We rented for 2 years from Front Porch Homes . At the beginning they sound very customer centered ready to help with anything possible . Our stay with them wasn't too bad until we tried to move out . Don't plan to get your security deposit back from them . We were the first people to live in the house since a remodel . At the last inspection they told us we wouldn't get our security deposit back because they had to repaint the whole house . The walls were nothing more than normal wear and tear that 2 years would do to the cheapest paint you could buy . We proceed to spend a whole weekend scrubbing every inch of the walls . The walls looked good as new after that yet they still said they needed to repaint the house . After much debating they agreed to a smaller payment for paint $300 . Then the other fees came in : weeds in the flower beds ($200) (its December by now no weeds at all) and a smoke alarm was missing a battery they were going to charge $50- we ended up doing landscaping and made sure the battery was new. The house was impeccable and had nothing more than normal wear and tear . This was my 7th time renting and I've always gotten the whole security deposit back . They then waited until the last day they are legally allowed to return the security deposit to us and didn't provide an itemized list of charges (illegal) like asked for multiple times . We closed on a house 4 months before our move out date so we asked if we moved out could they find a renter to cover the end of our lease . We moved out in October being told they could find someone by November they already had leads . That was a lie every lead they had "fell through" and even after having it posted on ****** they couldn't find anyone until miraculously they did 4 days before our lease was up . They played us as long as they could . They will nickel and dime, please beware!
