  They caught me at a weak moment. I happen to be staring at that half dead tree when they drove by. We agreed on a cash price to trim off the dead limbs. I had to run to the bank, but I told him before I left. Do not cut off anything that the wildlife was using. When I got back, there was only a man waiting to be paid. As I was stacking the leftover wood, I found three destroyed animal nest. 1 or 2 couldve been accidental, but the real proof of his disregard for my instructions was the black snake. It had been cut into four pieces. Cut in half couldve been an accident, but four pieces was disrespectful of wildlife and my wishes.

  Only care about commercial clients and getting money, at least for snow. Gave them multiple chances to correct or at least communicate but they just ignore.
  They initially quoted us this year over double the price from last year. Had I not really gone through the fine print, I could have signed. When I questioned they supposedly sent me quote/contract for another client.
  We were on the list to get pre-treated and no one showed up. When someone showed up to remove the first snow, they didn’t remove the snow on the walkway to the front door (even though that was part of the contact) and left a huge pile of snow in the driveway where we are unable to get out of the garage.
  Then, we called twice (and emailed) to make sure we were on the list for the next snow event. We were told each time we were on the list and someone would be out. However, no one showed up; nor did anyone call to let us know that they either were running behind or would not be out at all. We would have been okay if someone would have communicated so we knew what was going on. I called and emailed but never received a response. So, I then called back the following week to find out the reason they did not show up. At that time, I was told they would look into it and get back to me. Unfortunately, no one did. 
  For the next snow I called to verify someone would be out once snow stopped. I was informed we were on the list. I called late in the day, well after snow stopped, and were told once again we were on the list and they were trying to get to everyone by end of the day. No one showed up. Supposedly someone came almost 36 hours after snow stopped and saw we had already taken care of it. No one called or anything to apologize that they did not fulfill their contract. When we called to inquire we were told they have too many commercial clients and can’t get to residential.
  Multiple issues and not good customer service or follow-up at any point in time. DO NOT recommend for snow removal.

  I highly recommend Allen Outdoor solutions for all of your needs. Whether you are looking for Irrigation, landscaping, sod, or yard maintenance, Allen Outdoor is your company. I had a pool installed and my yard was a mud pit. ***** and his crew came in and turned my yard back into an oasis. Thank you ***** and crew, for effortlessly putting my yard back together.

  BEWARE!!!This company has terrible customer service. ********* communications are left unanswered, no follow-through for Spring irrigation turn on. They refused to repair a frozen pipe that was improperly winterized on a one year old irrigation system which ultimately cost me an additional $500 to get it fixed by another company who found the cracked pipe. They lost six customers in my neighborhood for their lack of concern horrible service.

  This customer and neighbors decided to change service to save a few dollars on start up service. They were under warrenty with us for five years as long as we are servicing their systems. Our contract states that if another company is used it voids the warrenty. We do not know was done and when it was done, therefore we cannot warranty. This was explained but not excepted.

  Allen Outdoor Solutions had been doing our sprinkler maintenance for a little over a year and we were pleased with their service. However, we had quite a different experience when we hired them to solve a drainage issue in our backyard. There were too many breakdowns in communication and things that went wrong with this project to list here, but in summation after spending thousands of dollars to solve a drainage problem, we still have a backyard that becomes a swamp in the rain. When we called the company to voice our concerns the owners solution was to spend an additional $1800 to solve the problem that he claimed was never addressed initially, which is absurd. (Mind you this was after another employee came out and agreed the job wasn't completed correctly and would be addressed immediately at their cost and then they went radio silent for 3 weeks and failed to return any of my phone calls).
  If you decide to hire this company to do work for you, be sure to get everything in writing, or better yet, record your conversations with them because their recollections of what was discussed are foggy at best. We worked with the owner directly and he was extremely defensive, rude, dismissive and dishonest. He actually laughed out loud at our concerns and had the audacity to say "and this is my problem?!?" at one point. I have never experienced such a lack of genuine concern over a customers satisfaction. As a former business owner myself and someone who continues to work with clients daily, I cannot imagine treating a paying client the way we were treated.
  I would be happy to share more details with a anyone considering hiring Allen Outdoor Solutions, but I highly advise you to look for a company that actually cares about their clients and comes up with actual SOLUTIONS!!!

  We were hired to extend a down spout and sump pump drain pipes, to move roof and basement water away from rear yard and house and discharged in the front yard. A French drain pipe was also added to help dry up the wet area next to the deck. After installation I we were called back out to discuss why there were puddles in the yard. ****** explained that we would need to install a swale to correct the run off problem there were experiencing from thier very large back hill. After installation, Additional work needed to be done to rectify their new request. I offered to do the work at cost, and they declined wanting the work for free. They were upset and did not understand what was installed and what they wanted now were two different projects.
