    On 6/13/25 I called about a chain saw running issue. They said it needs a new carburetor and that the part and labor would be $160. We dropped it off and two days later they called and said the replacement carburetor and labor would be $345 and that it probably in not worth fixing. When we picked it up they said there is a $60 charge for looking at it. We were told that there would be no charge if they did not do the work. They then lied and said that we were told that there is a non-refundable charge to look at it. They said that they record all phone calls and they can prove that we were told about the charge. They played back the two phone calls and it showed that were not told about any non-refundable charge. They then said that it did not matter because that is their policy. So they are saying they can change the price to any amount and if you do not agree to it they can arbitrarily add a fee for giving you a price. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store but will never go back. I want to warn customers about dishonest practice.

    Attached, please find our policy statement on our 'non-refundable' deposit.  The clips below are from our ******************** as well as the work order, which is given to each customer at time of drop-off.  It appears that the customer is most bothered by the estimate fee.  ** have been in business for over 40 years taking pride in our customer service.  ** care about our customer's experience.  ** think we are very forthright in our deposit policy.  Obviously, Mr. ********* does not agree.  ** are willing to make a one time adjustment for Mr. ********* and refund his $60 if this will make him happy.  Our deposit policy has been in place for over 10 years and is stated publicly wherever possible.

    I purchase a new lawn mower in May. I notice we you first use the ********** that it smoke. I have only use this ********** (8) and had problem with it smoking on and off. I took it to the shop and the technician call be back and say there is nothing they can do to fix it. The lawn motor was under a one year warranty. I want them to replace my lawn motor or refund me my money or fix it .

    They bent the crankshaft, mower has damage on the side, the machine has been abused but not due to anything we did and it is a customer induced problem.   They continued to use it and created other issues.   When he dropped off the mower, he told us he hit something.  We told him this is not a warrantable repair.  He was well aware of what was covered under the warranty.

    April 12th 2024 Order #***** $344.19 Spent We purchased a 122C Trimmer from **** for a total of $142.50. After using it three times, the trimmer stopped working. We returned it to the store on May 30th and were told it would be repaired under warranty. After not hearing anything from them for over a week we attempted numerous calls and finally were told by a service repair person wed need to pay $165 to have it repaired. We reminded them it was under warranty and he said he would have to check on it.After not hearing anything back we attempted to call, text and email, and finally got a response on June 7th saying a carburetor would be ordered and it would be ready to pick up sometime next week. On 6/13 a week later we reached out for an update and were met with rudeness and told us that they had already answered our questions. We offered to buy a better weed eater minus the cost of this one but were told a 25% restocking fee was necessary even though the cost of the repair was greater than the cost of the item and the repair was not due to any fault of ours. They also had not ordered the part needed for the repair and refused to give an update on when the repair would be made.As of 6/13/24 they have had our weed eater for two weeks and have not repaired I item or provided any information on when it will be repaired. They give us the run around and are aggressive and rude when we try to speak to them. We paid for a product that is needed for our lawn care which we have been unable to use for three weeks and still are no closer to a resolution. At this rate we will have purchased something that will not be used for its intended purpose and they are essentially holding our property ******. We demand that the item is immediately replaced with the same model and available to pick up immediately, a repair is made within 3 business days or an upgrade is offered in which we pay the difference in cost and is made available immediately. An apology is also needed!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The business has made no apology for their treatment of my wife, the intimidation, rudeness and unprofessionalism displayed by multiple staff members. We agree that the item was eventually repaired at no cost and collected by us, but only after a complaint was made with the BBB. An apology needs to be included and the communications that were shared in the initial complaint demonstrate the level of unprofessionalism that was displayed.
