      On August 19, 2022 a gentleman who identified himself as **** came to our house to resurface front porch and steps for $2400.00 as stated on the contract. Whenever he called the Caller ID said ******* *****. He put down one coat of concrete but it did not look smooth but rough with swirls. He said he made it rough so no one would slip and fall. That was not his call to make. If he had told us that upfront we would have said no. After he left we noticed he had also cemented the foot of the railings. The next day August 20, 2022 after it had dried my husband called and expressed our dissatisfaction. He came back on Monday August 22, 2022 chipped cement off the railings and removed them. He said he would put a second coat on it and make it smooth the way I wanted it. Well it wasn’t smooth, he said he couldn’t make it smooth. It did not look good or professional. He said he would be back in a couple of days to put railings back on. By Thursday, August 25, 2022 we hadn’t heard from him so my husband called and left a message. He returned call and said he would be
      over on Saturday, August 27, 2022. He put the railings back on but the railings for the steps were in the wrong position. One railing he left the bolts in the hole so he would know where to put them. Why he covered the other holes I don’t know. He said he would come back Monday, August 29, 2022 to fix the railings. As of today September 1, 2022 we haven’t heard from him. I normally don’t complain but this looks really bad.

      I am rejecting this response because: we are not complaining about the rails.  The rails wasn’t in the contract that’s why we don’t understand why he took them off in the first place.  He is concerned about the rails but not addressing the work he did.  Look at the pictures or do I need to send more.
