PracticeMatch repeatedly harasses by calling and sending text messages from different numbers every day. This was never solicited or sought out. They do not include an option to opt out of their predatory contact methods.

Twice at career fairs, practicematch has offered to "review my resume", and get back with me about suggestions about it. I have submitted it, not gotten any feedback, and worse, it has been sent all over to recruiters, and recruiters who would have only gotten the information from this service have contacted me to the point of it being spam and very hard to stop, and they often say they got my information from practicematch. I have tried repeatedly to get my profile turned off and practicematch to stop sending my information to potential recruiters and to no avail. I can barely use my email now because of the amount of recruiter spam I get from places that I am often not even qualified for.

I have received a number of text messages from Practice Match advertising ******* ****** ***** that are occurring at that time. They almost always include a $25 incentive adverised in the text message ("NOW- Receive $25 for attending *** ******* ****** **** until Xpm CT"). I did not ever sign up for Practice Match when I received the first text about this and was unsure about how my number had been obtained. Since signing up for ******* ****** *****, my information has been shared with MANY potential recruiters, much beyond the booths I choose to enter. Additionally, I have had email threads with ****** ******** and ****** ******* in October 2022 and February 2023 that have left me feeling fairly unheard and unvalued as a participant and target audience of Practice Match. I have tried to advocate for my perspective in my most recent email thread but have come to the conclusion that likely no more progress can be made with ****** or ******* Thus, I am submitting this BBB complaint so that someone in management can hear my concerns and treat physicians like myself with a customer-centered approach that would be expected of an A+-rated BBB company.

    *******

    You opted into our services
    by attending the **** ****** ******* ****** ****. You provided your information
to us directly. We did not receive any prior requests from you asking for the
removal of your information you mentioned it in this BBB complaint.

    As stated in all our
marketing verbiage, as well as the previous emails between you and ******, it
is a requirement to attend the event to be eligible for the gift card incentive
we offer for participating in the events. You routinely asked for giftcards without
participating in the events to the extend required.

    We have removed your
information from PracticeMatch, added you to our bounce table, added your phone
number to our DNC list for our text marketing, & removed your contact
information from our list of past attendees, so you will not have to worry
about your information being shared nor attending or registering for our
    ******* ****** ***** moving forward.

    Thank you,
    PracticeMatch

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because PracticeMatch did not call me or make an attempt to contact me to discuss my concerns. They backed up their employees' perspectives, who also were not really listening to me. This communicates to me the type of business that PracticeMatch is. This is not about a $25 Amazon gift card, but instead about how I am treated by your employees. I am disappointed that a more collaborative approach was not taken after directly reaching out to ****** (**********) and then submitting a BBB complaint. These were almost identical responses and clear that PracticeMatch wants to cease all communication.

    Sincerely,
