  When having my first exam at vision care consultants, I will say the staff is very friendly and inviting, the exam was very thorough and did all the necessary testing to access all of my vision needs. I was not able to see well with the contacts i got previously at a different eye doctor, I gave up on them and tried them again, I will say I am able to wear and see out of them comfortably. I am very happy with how well i can see out of my glasses and contacts that I ordered . I would never go anywhere else. If you are looking for the best eye doctor in ********* this would be my only recommendation!

  I have been a patient for almost 20 years and have had a chance to see each of the doctors there. They are all great! Staff is super nice and welcoming and some of the most professional medical staff I have ever experienced. Highly recommend!

  Very disappointing and unprofessional. Have been a patient here for a couple of years and felt Dr. ** was okay until recently. Had my annual exam and refraction done and took my prescription to the vision center at the big retailer (the same one he was always disparaging,ironically ). The optician entered the prescription then ask if I was having any vision issues which I was not. *he stated the prescription was vastly different then last time and called Dr * office to questioning. The nurse looked up my file and said yes that looks wrong but I have to ask the doctor. The vision center had to call back the next day with the same question,got the same nurse and received the same answer. On the third day when they spoke to the office the nurse said the doctor had finally looked at her message and he was sure the prescription was correct. When my vision center doctor dialed in the prescription that Dr *. wrote I could not only not read the chart it was so bad I couldnt even tell it was a chart! I feel that Dr ** should have at the very least recommended I come back for a recheck or at least looked at my chart and considered that there could be a mistake, which he obviously didnt. Now looking for a competent, caring doctor.

I regret that we did not meet your expectations on the communication with the ******* optical. I did review your record and I did tell my optician to tell the ******* optician that I recommend you have that prescription checked by me or by ******* optical before making the eyeglasses. It doesn't sound like that message made it back to you accurately. I am glad that ultimately you did have the the prescription checked before having your glasses made.
