I am a customer of this company, a monthly subscriber who has been utilizing their services for over a year. I am just finding out today after my vehicle has been vandalized (window busted out) that the garage only has surveillance cameras up until the 5th floor. The building has 14 floors total, and my vehicle was destroyed on the 9th floor. Why is that? Can they not afford to properly install a security system on every floor to provide adequate supervision of their customers vehicles? Why have any cameras at all if you arent going to secure the entire unit? I did not have any items of value in my vehicle, it was ransacked and the police were notified to obtain a police report. I do not feel safe parking my vehicle in a garage if its only going to be broken into and unaccounted for. What exactly am I paying for??Business Response

On 2/24/24 I had work at a CITYPARK soccer match in the city. I ended up driving for about an hour to find a spot and broke down and bought parking which was $40. I ended up being denied entery since it was so late. So I walked back to my car and within 2 minutes I couldnt receive a refund. The attendant, *****, said he could not give me a refund however if I contact customer service I could receive one. He gave me his supervisors name as well. After that I contacted customer service in hopes of a refund since I am a broke college student who was just trying to make money and ended up losing money. There customer service representative was not helpful and borderline rude which I attached the email document. My resolution would preferably be the $40 back in my account. Since I did not park for an extended amount of time on a game that warrants a $40 parking fee!Business Response

I parked my vehicle at St. Louis Parking Company's lot at ****************** on Thursday, January 19, 2023. The advertised rate for parking in this lot on that day was $8.00. I paid for parking using the company's Passport Parking Mobile Pay app. I was charged $30.00. I reached out to customer service at Passport ******************** Mobile Pay and was told that they can't issue refunds in this helpdesk. They told me to get in touch with the local parking operator at ************************************************************* and they would be happy to assist you further with your request. I emailed the local parking operator (St. Louis Parking Company) at the email address provided. My email message wasn't delivered to ************************************************************ because the address couldn't be found, or was unable to receive mail. I contacted St. Louis Parking Company via the Contact Us tab on their webpage and did not receive a response.Business Response

I park in one of their parking lots every single day and always pay. This week their card reader has been on and off - probably due to whatever happened there over the weekend to cause all the broken window glass, concrete debris and rubble everywhere. I tried scanning my card a dozen times and it wouldn’t work, so I opted to go into my office (I was running late because of this) and try again either on the app or just go back after a few minutes to try it again. I come back to try it again after only ten minutes and there’s already a ticket on my car. I appealed it and they declined the appeal despite providing a picture - likely only because my appeal was not politely worded, though it was a valid appeal. Out of spite, they left a second ticket on my car for the same thing.Business Response

We appreciate the customer's business and regret that the customer had difficulty in their attempt to submit payment on the day in question. We want to ensure our customers have as many convenient options to submit payment as possible. In addition to the payment option at the meter, this location offers an alternate payment method, mobile pay through ******** *******. Signage notifying customers of the multiple payment options is present at the location.
We apologize for the technical issues however had payment been submitted the customer would not have been issued a violation for non-payment. Payment rules are posted at the meter. Parking rights are granted at the time payment is received and the customer had an opportunity to submit payment through the mobile pay option. Parking rights would have been granted had the claimant submitted payment via the mobile payment option prior to the customer leaving the property. Unfortunately the customer did not have parking rights because payment was not received on this day.
The fact that the customer was issued a second violation in the same day was clearly a mistake on our part and we promptly voided the violation. We apologize for this mistake.
Aside from signage identifying alternate payment methods being present, the customer filed an appeal approximately one month prior to the complaint for the same issue. At that time we accepted the customer's appeal as a one-time grace and reinforced the option of the multiple payment options.

Well, I have been paying my parking garage fees every month, I have just been told my account was closed due to inactivity and without any prior alert, and wanting to charge me $115 when I’m moving in 30 days? I was about to pay my fee for this month until I was told that, I asked for a corporate number, in which I was told “they’re just going to send you back to me” and it will go into collections. I live here! This makes absolutely no sense and it sounds like a money grab and it’s incredibly ridiculous to charge someone $115 on top of the regular monthly fees because THEY closed my account without warning. I walk to work and trust my car in that garage that I pay for. I want this removed immediately from my records and if this goes into collections, this will be bad news for STL Parking. I have a LARGE and respected community footprint. This is totally unacceptable in all facets. Example A, I need to get my car out to go to **** **** *** tomorrow. Something charitable. While they sit on their behinds and try to snag money wherever possible like selling parking and giving the actual tenants a “light suggestion” to move their cars to allow strangers that don’t live there to take up primo spots? People rob and steal all day down here and break into cars. Why would I risk that for my vehicle so they can make an extra quick buck at my expense??? Someone please address this. It makes NO common sense. You cannot hold my car hostage over a baseless fee that I wasn’t even alerted or notified of.Business Response
