We got a bill from them that was not submitted through our insurance. I uploaded our insurance on their website. About a month later, I called back again and they said they didn**;t receive any payment from our insurance. Our insurance company said that they haven**;t received any bill from them. So I contacted them again and they said there was a problem with the payer id was not right. I did a 3 way call with them and they said there was not a problem. I would like for them to bill to my insurance and if not I expect them to "eat" the bill.Initial Complaint

Our twins received care in the **** following their birth in September 2022. We received a bill from Pediatrix Medical Group shortly after their discharge for a total of nearly $21,000. On December 30, 2022, we received a letter from ************** indicating that we had been approved for financial assistance, which included care received by doctors represented by Pediatrix Medical Group. On January 6, 2023, I spoke with a representative via phone who asked that I forward the approval letter via email, which I did immediately following the phone call. On January 11, 2023, I received a return email from Pediatrix Medical Group indicating that our letter had been received and our account was under review. On January 19, 2023, I called Pediatrix Medical Group for an update on our account and the representative indicated that we had been approved for 75% financial assistance. I asked for an updated bill reflecting the discount and the representative said it would likely arrive via mail during their next billing cycle on February 8, 2023. On February 15, 2023, I called Pediatrix Medical Group again after not having received the updated bill and the representative indicated that no decision had been made regarding our account and that it had never been under review, completely contradicting what had been communicated to me by the previous representative. It has been almost 6 months since charges were applied and despite our attempt to reconcile the bill, there has been zero resolution because it seems as though no communications have been logged or understood. I'm being told something different every time I speak to a representative.Business Response
