    When my roommate and I moved in to his property the rehab he did on the house built in **** was half assed. We were constantly calling him with issues over the 3 years we lived there. We finally decided to move out when he put the property up for sale without even disclosing that info to us. I found out by some guy knocking on my door and waking me up. I left the place spotless the last time I was in that house. When ***** lawyer (*****************************) did the walk through he stole two Nest thermostats off the wall so my roommate and I got charged for replacing the thermostats. We got a little over $100 back a piece out of our $1,000 deposit. Instead of penalizing us, he should have used that money to fix the issues with the property while we were living there. I know someone who works for the ***************** who does inspections and I asked if hed do a walk through. He said there is no way that anyone should have been living there. The foundation is uneven, there is mold, there are electrical issues, and he said that ***************** did not have a renters permit. In my ********************************************************************** All we were to Mark was a paycheck with our rental payments. Id like to see some kind of resolution, such as the rest of our deposit back, or perhaps even more considering no one should have been living there and he rented it to us illegally. Id really appreciate your help with this. I appreciate your time!
