    Business Response

    Date: 11/21/2023

I have consulted with our billing department regarding this complaint as this is a in reference to a balance from ******************** private practice before joining Serenity in September 2023. Our office staff does not have access to the old billing records so are unable to provide any information. These calls are referred to our billing department who are handling accounts from his private practice. They had called patient twice and left a voicemail regarding her balance at ******************** private practice and did not get a return call.

They did make contact with her on 11/20/23 and provided her with the dates of service in question. The insurance that was on file for these dates of service was not active. Patient states she had updated her insurance with staff at previous practice but was not given to the billers. Patient provided her insurance information and claims were resubmitted for the dates of service and are pending payment.

To be clear, this is not a billing issue with Serenity Health but with ******************** private practice . I was told that the client was satisfied with the outcome of their conversation.
