    I have moved out of the property and have not received my deposit. This company is refusing to refund it stating that there were repairs and clean out that was applied, which is not true. When I left my apartment, I hired a cleaning company to clean the apartment out, the only thing that need to be replaced was a pair of window blinds. I never got to do a walk thru with them even after we agreed that it would be done after I got off from work in the afternoon, but instead, they did it during the morning while I was at work. I did not destroy my apartment, it was very well taken care of and because they didn&#**;t give me any indication that would be done while I was at work, they are now giving me a list of repairs that are not true that they have applied to my deposit.

    In regards to Ms ****** claim we have irrefutable proof that many of her statements are false or inaccurate.
    ******************************** rented half of a duplex from October 25, 2019 through July 1, 2024. 

    I will demonstrate line by line the inaccuracy of Ms ****** claim.

    "I have moved out of the property and have not received my deposit."  ************* did not receive her deposit back due to damages in her apartment for which this deposit was used. We provided a detailed list of charges within 30 days of her returning keys, as is required by state statute.


    "This company is refusing to refund it stating that there were repairs and clean out that was applied, which is not true."  This statement is absolutely untrue.  ************** left debris in almost every closet in the apartment.She also left a mattress and several large furniture pieces in the exterior basement stairwell. We had to pay people to remove everything and also had to pay for a dump fee for the large items. We took photos of the unit and have them in her file.


    " When I left my apartment, I hired a cleaning company to clean the apartment out, the only thing that need to be replaced was a pair of window blinds." Again, this is untrue. Aside from the debris and furniture she left, Ms ***** fed and housed feral cats.  We sent her several notices about the cats, but she went from just feeding them outside to letting them come into her basement.  WE had to pay a professional cleaning company extra to power wash, sanitize and deodorize the basement because you could smell cat urine from the exterior. It was so bad that the smell caused us to lose a potential tenant when they went to look at the vacant apartment adjoining hers. She also threw out plastic bags with soiled cat litter into the yard.  Those had to be picked up and disposed of by the company that did the debris removal and cleaning. Again, we have photos of the damages/debris of the unit upon her moving out.

When ************** returned her keys, we asked if she wanted to be present for the move out inspection. *************, herself, chose the day and time of inspection: Tuesday,July 2, 2024 at noon.  She was given a copy of her key return form with this information clearly written on it.  She ignored the walk through time and then came to our office 2 hours after the scheduled inspection and said she was ready to go over. We informed her that she missed her opportunity and the inspection had already been completed.

    " I did not destroy my apartment, it was very well taken care of and because they didn't give me any indication that would be done while I was at work, they are now giving me a list of repairs that are not true that they have applied to my deposit."  Please see all the above statements regarding this claim. ************** also changed the locks on her door, never gave us a key and made it extremely difficult to do maintenance for her during her tenancy.
