    I hired them toward the end of December to fix a leak in my roof that caused some rain damage to the interior of my home. When they completed the work, the paint colors did not match. They told me it would get darker as it dried, but if it did not, they would return to repaint it with a better color. I let the paint dry and then sent them photos showing how much the color was off and that there was discoloration on the ceiling where the leak was. They told me several times that they would come to finish the work, but they never showed up. It has been months of them not following through and they have stopped responding to my calls and messages. When you hire someone, you expect the work to be done in a timely manner and done well. This has not been my experience with Banks Contracting and Remodeling.

    A few days after I filed my complaint, and posted a review of the company I followed up with them again. They responded and scheduled a time to complete the work. They completed the work today and the paint looks good. It has now been 5 months since I hired them, but I am thankful that they responded to my concerns and finally finished the work.

    I paid them 3200 dollars to dig a ditch and they have not done that. They used an old gutter and placed dirt ontop. I have tried calling them but to no avail and the voice mail full. I tried texting and nothing was replied to either.

    I really hate to be this person we hired Banks Contracting & Remodeling, LLC to do a 18 x 16 deck. Ill be honest we wanted to give them a try, since we never given a BLACK OWNED COMPANY a job this big. . They quoted us over $8000 ( which is probably cheap to other contractors) theyve sent us several invoices and weve paid all but one. We are in **************** , I understand **************** is a bit Meticulous when it comes to approving permits. We saw all of the work on their FB page and thought this would be a great company to go with. **************** have rejected the drawings 50 thousand times (over exaggerating) but thats what it seems like. When I spoke to the Superintendent he told me that these alleged contractors doesnt know what they are doing. I explained to the superintendent that we wanted to give them a chance. The superintendent had to literally sit down with them and do color by numbers in order for them to get the drawing correct. Finally an Approval nearly a month or so later. The inspector came out they told the inspector they will start today. When I didnt see a work truck or concrete I had to reach out to them, the contractors then told me the weather was too cold to pour, come to find out after texting back and forth with them , the superintendent told me they submitted new plans, I was dumbfounded he said he had approve the others finally and didnt understand why they took this action. *** requested a refund and now they have blocked my CashAp request. I hate to be this way about other African American (my people) but they really leave us no choice. Now, weve had to contact our lawyer and he advised us to put them on blast through the news room ( I so hate this) . They have only dug piers at this point and keep delaying.The owners are ****** ******************************************************
