  I had *** do a insurance claim and nearly replaced the entire out side of my house. I had several issues with lack of communication and terrible follow up. They made several mistakes from wrong color material being brought to site, putting nails into the electrical and trying to say no way they could have until it was proven to them. They used a retaining wall of mine in my backyard for support when doing siding, the wall has been present for over 8 years since I bought the house and no problems. They do the work and I find my wall leaning now and they are claiming no way they could have done the damage and refuse to do anything.

  This company was recommended by my next door neighbor. KMI Construction repaired my roof, siding, soffits, and gutters after being damaged by a tornado a year ago on April 1st. The workers were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. The owner was particularly helpful with the insurance company claims adjuster (State Farm, who I wouldn't recommend to anyone). A year later my home was hit again and I experienced the same excellent service from ***. Don't believe the negative reviews. Hire the local reliable guys like *** with long track records and forget the ambulance chasers.

  The quality of their work is terrible, and they do nothing but delay and ignore you when you complain. They will never apologize or admin wrongdoing. The workers accessed my house only do use the restroom when I was on vacation. They "lost" my router when I called them out so I could no longer monitor them, then told me I would have to call my provider to have the cable replaced but I had someone go over and plug it in just fine. The treated my property like trash and left their trash all over the house. They drilled many holes in my cabinets, walls and subfloor where they weren't supposed to be and just put flooring or tile over them, or left them. They said they couldn't move doors or remove a wall as shown on the design they approved because of HVAC concerns. It turned out they never had drawings or a permit. They did remove the wall when I had a meltdown then immediately drywalled over it and told me it didn't need an inspection. It was a major load bearing, 18 foot wall. They told me the timeline would be done around my cabinet delivery date, then when the cabinets were delivered they "didn't receive the email" that said they were ever ordered so they sat in my garage for 8 month and now many are warped or damaged. The tile guy showed up to do tile and there was no drain in the bathroom and a doorway had not been moved. They said the cabinets were sized wrong because they installed them wrong. The retailer sent an email that said "please see the notes in BIG RED LETTERS on the design." They uninstalled them and reinstalled them still wrong. They installed the crown molding upside down. They washer hookups were placed behind a cabinet. The cabinets were damaged during installation. They said their guys were busy on a prior commitment and couldn't show up for 3 weeks, but one of them send me a text that said they were busy working on the owner's house. The list goes on and on and I have pictures and screenshots of everything. I have filed a complaint with the BBB

  None of the above is accurate.We worked on this project for several months and had to deal with a visible substance abuse problem with the owner, which lead to her not being able to remember what was discussed and then asking for things to be re-worked several times due to "not remembering". We had two different sub contractors who refused to return and work due to the state of the owner and their inability to communicate in a sober manor.Ultimately the owner hired another company to do an increased scope of work, this work started and was not permitted risking the license of our sub contractors and our company. Due to this the we stopped all work and the county placed a stop work order on the property and fined the homeowner. This can all be verified through the county website and public records.All permits were pulled and inspections completed for the work we were hired to complete, ultimately we pulled off the project due to the state of the owner and other un-permitted work being started and the very unprofessional response of that company when asked about their permit. The homeowner was given notice and chose not to do anything so the county stepped in with the stop work order.
