      Its unfortunate its come to this -I was told that I had to cancel my membership in person. Thats fine, totally get it. They assured me that I could go to my nearest one - since I had moved to TN, my nearest one was 2 hrs away in **********, **. Again, perfectly fine. Before driving to ********** I called them and they stated the opposite. It has to be the one I signed up with. So I drove 5 hrs to Stl to cancel it in person, because I was not allowed to cancel over the phone. They were adamant that I had to sign paperwork to cancel. I arrived, and told me it was already canceled. They made me drive 5 hours for nothing.The people of this company dont communicate with each other (they are high school employees who dont know their own policies). I wasted 5 hrs even though none of them notified me it was already cancelled. My advice - Im sure this company has other great locations with a more competent staff, as this one just reflects poor business operations. Id go to another location, or stay away from memberships here.You can go to BBB and read the reviews to understand more about their lack of worth ethic.Now, *** had to contact corporate (finally found it, because they refused to give it to me - illegal), and Ill have to ensure they understand the laziness that ensued.Stay away - they work off commission with lotions, they dont actually care about their customers. If my card is charged tomorrow, Im going to have to result to even more serious measures. It shouldnt be this difficult to cancel a membership for something as simple **********.

      PBT has deceitful and predatory practices. They lied to me about the membership fee structure. Their members are expected to pay a $25 initiation fee then have an ETF and are charge $51/mo every month at the start of the month.When I approached them I was told that it was $51/mo. They said that if I paid on January 23rd then I could have unlimited sessions until February 23rd at which point I would have to pay another $51 for another month. I was never told about the initiation fee or that it was a recurring charge that would happen at the start of each month. They also never told me that I was signing up for a membership with a recurring fee and that if I wanted to cancel I would have to do so before by the 25th of the month, which was just a few days later.When she charged me it was for exactly $51. After I was charged another $51 one week later I learned I was lied to. What they did was charge me the $25 initiation fee then another $26 for the last week of the month so that the total charge would be $51 and I wouldnt notice their deception until after being charged again the next month. That means I paid over 50% for less than 25% of the month then was stuck with a recurring membership fee. This is clear and deliberate deceit.
