I first contacted Legacy Title and Escrow on Dec ******** I had a lien against a property that Legacy Title and Escrow was closing on. I called and spoke to Trinidi. She acknowledged the lien and asked me to send her the invoice with the total amount due. She said the property was to close on 1/17/2025 and I could pick up the check the check at one of their 2 locations. On 1/17 I followed up with a call and Trinidi said the closing had been pushed back. She emailed me and said that she checked and the liens are to be paid at closing per owner of the company. It was now due to close on 1/31/2025. She assured me via email that if she got wind of any changes she will let me know asap. On Jan 23 Trinidi emailed me and said they received an amendment form the agent pushing the closing back to 2/14/2025. I followed up with Trinidi on 1/30/2025 and she said closing was still on track for 2/14/2025. She confirmed she had the seller ********* ***** ( who I had the lien against) Scheduled for 12pm but she said she may come in earlier. I checked with Trinidi on 2/7/2025 and she confirmed the closing was still on for 2/14/2025. She confirmed that both parties were closing that morning on 2/14/2025 so the check would be ready for pick up that afternoon.I checked again on 2/12/2025...Trinidi confirmed everything was still on track. On 2/14/2025 I called Trinidi and she said closing was taking place at the office on ****** and their owner ****** was handling it. She gave me her contact info. I called her and the person that answered said ****** was currently in the closing with Mrs. ****** I later got an email from ****** saying that they pre signed the seller and it was moved to Tuesday. Later that day I got another email from owner ****** ***** and it said This file is not closing with week >lender has postponed closing. I know for a fact this property did close and this company deliberately stalled to avoid paying my lient that was due to expire on 2/19/2025.

Legacy Title & Escrow, LLC does not have any commercial relationship with Ms. ************* She held a purported lien on real estate in the process of being sold for which Legacy was handling the closing.  Ms. ******** lien expired per statute prior to the closing.  Moreover, we understand that she has since settled her claim against the seller.  Therefore, we consider this matter resolved.
