    *** dispatched this company in response to my request for a tow. I gave the tow driver my driver’s license and *** plus membership card. The tow driver that arrived told me he was the owner of the company and that I was not covered by *** because I was driving my boyfriend’s car. He towed us and charged us$320. I spoke to *** immediately afterward and they said the tow driver misunderstood. He didn’t realize I had a gold membership. He would refund me. When I did not receive the refund, I reached out to ***. The tow driver changed his story and said that I was not at the tow location so he did not have to refund… and he will not do so. My cell phone was used to give *** location of the tow. Security cameras were in operation where I was picked up for the tow. Owner of the shop still refuses to refund.

    The customer was not there when the vehicle was being towed and it was not the customer's vehicle.  The boyfriend agreed to pay for the tow with his credit card.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was at the tow location. I sat next to the tow driver all the way from ****** ***** to *** *****.  I called yo dispatch the tow truck from my personal cell phone number and spoke to the agent. I sent a pin from my cell phone to give location.  Security cameras at the tow site also verify I was there.

    It does not matter that it was not my personal vehicle.  I am covered.  I was there. I am attaching the *** policy that refers to member coverage.

    Note: this is a copy of my phone records from the day of the tow. It shows that not only did *** call me, so did this towing company. They spoke with me directly and I rode in the tow truck. Why would they call me if I wasn’t at the tow location as they continue to allege?  The company has changed their story 3 times and has not issued a refund.

    On August 24th, *** contacted me to say they were able to pull data and they verified that I was there for the tow.  They said AEA would mail me a refund check.   As of today, September 20th, they AEA has not sent the refund, nor have they returned any of my messages.
