  I called on Thursday. Requested the tow for Monday and arranged it to be picked up at 7:30 and taken to the auto shop. He never showed on Monday and didnt answer any texts or calls that day. Monday at 4:11 he text with sorry *** did you still need a tow. We arranged Tuesday at 8am. Tuesday at 9:11 he text and said we were next. This of course was an hour and eleven minutes after the time agreed upon. He arrived at 11:45. He dropped it off at 1 and we paid. 1:38 we realized he didnt drop at the agreed upon location. We text him and called him. He apparently dropped it at the shop next door to our shop. He said he would move the next day. We then hit a text saying he ran out of time at 6:45. The next day (Wednesday) I asked for confirmation of delivery by ten am. We didnt hear anything. We text today (Thursday) Has my car been delivered to the correct address or are we still delayed 3 days later? he didnt reply. An hour later he still wasnt answering the calls so I text so you arent answering. I also sent I am requesting a refund on cashapp. I'll call another tow company. It was supposed to be done Monday morning. We couldn't reach you. You said you would do it Tuesday Wednesday you were supposed to move to correct location but ran out of time. Today it was to be done by 10am. We have been understanding and very patient but the car was supposed to be fixed Tuesday. Bc of this situation we still haven't even had work started on the car... When will we receive our refund?At 1 he said he had a driver on it. I told him he had until 2:30. At 2:07 seven days after we called him it finally made it to the right shop. We asked for a Reciept at 2:17 and 20 minutes later have yet to hear anything.

  My son's car was illegally towed by tow truck labeled "Chauncey's" on Friday at 11:30pm. I made multiple calls, left voicemails, sent texts all to the same telephone number listed on "Chauncey's" site, throughout the weekend, to not get any response. We were attempting to get answers on where to pick it up, when we could pick it up, how to pick it up, what forms of payment were needed, etc. Only to be told AFTER 3 LONG DAYS the car would be at 5735 Fee Fee and bring $625 cash ONLY. (I knew 3 days before when looking at the address listed on Chauncey's towing website, the car wasn't there , because it was just a home on a city street). Almost IMMEDIATELY after finally giving us the address (on Day 3) the man called, said he was there waiting but couldn't wait all day and it would be $75 more PER day if we missed him?? I told him we had to drive there as he JUST NOW gave us the address. *********Public should know this****** When a vehicle gets towed, it is, by law, required to have VIN placed into database which was NEVER DONE by this company (not on day one, not on day two, not ever). After dealing with police officers and local tow companies, finally found out that a random tow "company" (aka 1 man with a tow truck) took the vehicle unlawfully, he never submitted the vin, . After showing up to the address, we saw that the car was not in the gated lot, and nobody was there. The man showed up an hour later with my son's car. When he FINALLY showed up, police questioned him as to why the VIN was not submitted, he simply said "he must have accidentally sent the fax to the wrong police number." This is a scam of 1 man who takes vehicles illegally. Law enforcement already guided us on how to handle this activity. We are consulting a lawyer , contacted the media, filed a BBB complaint online, and will not stop until this fraud has been dealt with accordingly.
