It has been two months since I purchased a car from them. The car has been giving me problems. The first problem was the caliber and I took it them to get it fixed and I had to pay for it. Now, the car has been giving me problems with the same issue. We went today to the business and they told me to leave the car there with them and that is the only thing that they could do for me. They have been telling me the mechanic has not been there. I was told when I purchased the car that I had a warranty on the car. I can not even drive the car over 25 mph. Now I am having trouble with the suspension. So, I have to continue to pay for a car that continues to have repair issues. I would like my car repaired and not to pay out of pocked because I have a warranty on the car.

    Business Response

    Good morning,

Thank you for reaching out about this matter, the vehicle was purchased on 03/18/2023 Passing the Missouri Vehicle Safety Inspection with 178789 Miles on the odometer and it does, in fact, come with a Powertrain Warranty for One month or a 1000 Miles, whichever comes first. The warranty covers the engine, transmission, components that are internally oil lubricated. When the vehicle had an issue with one of the brake calipers, which is not covered by our warranty, we replaced the caliper for the client and to help her out we only charged her for the parts and we did the labor for free in good faith. The car drove well after the repair, and the calipers were functioning as they should. After a while, the client stopped by our facility with a spare-tire on and complained that the vehicle is vibrating at certain speeds and that she thinks there's something wrong with the suspension.. We asked her what happened to the original wheel and tire that were on the vehicle, she said she hit a pothole and had a blowout, hence the spare tire was put on. We believe that the pothole caused some undercarriage damage and that it may have damaged the suspension. We informed the client, that our in-house mechanic is currently out on sick leave because of COVID-19 and that we would be happy to help and inspect the car once he is back in the shop. The client came in to our office on 06/13/2023 and we told her that we will be happy to help getting the car inspected to figure out what's causing the vibration and that we will call her once our mechanic is back, and we gave her the option of leaving the car with us, and she decided to take the car. The next day, 06/14/2023, our mechanic fully recovered and was back at work. We called the phone number that we have on file on 06/14 in the morning and left a voicemail informing the client that she can bring the car in for diagnostic but we never received a call back. We won't be able to know what's wrong with the vehicle until we properly diagnose it. We're willing to help and diagnose the vehicle for free of charge, however, if the damage was caused by the pothole mentioned above, then we recommend the client to file an insurance claim for the repairs. Keeping in mind, that our warranty only covers the powertrain components that are internally oil lubricated, and the warranty on this specific vehicle expired on 04/18/2023. We're willing to set up an appointment with the client to get the vehicle diagnosed for free, and we will provide her with an Estimate/Quote to get it fixed afterwards.
