    Ordered pet medication through this seller on **********. Since this is medication it is unable to be returned. According to manufacturer item must be shipped refrigerated not to exceed 47F. Item received with melted tiny ice packs that instant thermometer measured in excess of 80F. Manufacturer: ****** requires refrigeration to maintain its effectiveness as it contains live bacteria that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Item received is no longer viable for use. I want a refund!

    The customer contacted us on March 19, ******** following email was shared with the customer regarding his email:

    "Please be assured that we work closely with the manufacturer to package and ship according to their guidelines. Per the manufacturer: We guarantee product quality and effectiveness when purchased from an authorized seller. If your package arrives and the ice packs have melted, Azodyl will maintain effectiveness after 3-5 days in transit. Product stability testing has shown that the probiotic counts necessary to ensure efficacy remain stable if the product is at room temperature for up to 10 days. To preserve effectiveness please continue to refrigerate Azodyl upon receiving the product.
    If you no longer want to keep your item you are free to mail it back to us for a refund. Please drop it in the mail along with your Amazon order number. You can send it to ZQUARED *************************************************. Please forward your tracking number so we know when to expect it.

    The product listing page on ****** states that the item is viable upon arrival but should be refrigerated when received. There is a 30 day return window. The order will be refunded if returned by April 25, 2025

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:
    I live in ***** and the medication was sitting in the heat,  bottles were hot not warm.  I refused to pay to return and they would not provide a return postage label.  Since the medication was NOT kept at a temperature recommended by the manufacturer and was useless I discarded it.  I maintained the bottles, but I did not want this amoral business to unload them on another unsuspecting consumer.  If they want the bottles back, Ill be happy to provide them at their expense.

    I have provided the document from ***** stating that the package was indeed signed for, see attached. Customers are provided with tracking information when the order is processed for shipment. Customers can log onto the carrier website, sign up for delivery notifications and know when to expect their package. 

    Amazon states the item is non-returnable, see attached screenshot of the product listing. In spite of this, if a customer requests to return their order we will provide them with our address and process a refund upon return of their unwanted item.
