      FILED A WARRRENTY ISSUE ON 07/25/22 AND WAS TOLD THAT THE IT WOULD BE **** BUSINEES DAYS BEFORE THEY COULD FIND SOMEONE BUT IF I WAS ABLE TO FIND A LOCAL PEROSN AND THEY COULD DO AN ESTIMATE AND THE MAYBE THE WORK THAT DAY THEY WOULD COVER 100% ONCE RECEIPT WAS SUBMITTED (SENT TO EMAIL ON 07/26/22). FIND OUT 07/29/22 THAT THEY WILL ONLY COVER 300$ OF THE CLAIM PER SYSTEM PER YEAR WHEN I WENT TO FILE ANOTEHR CLAIM FOR THE SAME SYSTEM I HAD ORGIANLLY FILED FOR. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THIS TYPE OF LIMITS PER SYSTEM PER YEAR DUE TO I NEVER RECIEVED A COPY OF THE POLICY. CALLED 07/29/22 TO ASK WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHY THEY WERE ONLY COVING 300$ VS THE FULL AMOUNT AND WAS TOLD I MET MY LIABILTY FOR MY PLOICY FOR THAT SAID SYSTEM FOR THE ***** I NEEDED TO ADD A FURTHER CLAIM TO SAID SYSTEM AND TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NOT COVER IT AND THAT THE CLAIM WOULD BE DENIED. HOW AM I TO KNOW ABOUT THE PLOICY LIMITS IF I NEVER RECEIVED A COPY OF THE POLICY UNTI TODAY 07/29/22.

      I purchased a home warranty (#*********) in May 2020, to be paid for in monthly installments of 229.77, and was told I could cancel within 30 days. I did call to cancel within 30 days and was told the warranty had been cancelled. However the payments continued to be deducted from my checking account until August 30, 2021. When I discovered this, I called Like New Home Warranty and asked for the money to be refunded in September of 2021. I was told a refund check would issue. To date, I have not received a refund check. I have contacted the company more than 12 times since September of 2021. I have sent them a notarized "Notice of Cancellation and Refund Request" with Tracking, per their request on December 10, 2021. I have spoken to numerous employees, who continually say the check will be issued in 8-12 weeks, but it never issues. They refuse to give me an email address or phone number for a manager. They say there is nothing else I can do but wait and continue calling. They keep changing the start dated of the alleged 8-12 weeks. Initially it was 1/20/22, now they say it was 5/30/22. I am frustrated with their continued promises to refund my money.

The we revived the information on your account back from your administrator on 6/7/2022 that is needed to issue a refund on your account. We are sorry for any confusion that there was with your account and refund. We have issued you a refund check and to make sure that it actually gets to you in a timely manor we have sent it via **** with *** *** delivery. The check is expected to be delivered to your address on 8/12/2022. Please call our customer service if you do not get it and we will put a stop payment on the check and reissue it to you.
