    Where do I start? The checklist is pretty lengthy but Ill start with the most expensive. We decided to build a custom home with Centermark Construction in 2020. During the building phase we had lots of concerns. When we attempted to address any of the concerns we had all we got in return were excuses or long explanations that were exhausting and not a fix. After the house was built, about 3 months after we moved in, we noticed a long list of problems. Wrong countertops, square footage of our house from our actual Plans are off, roof that leaks, front door that isnt centered with peak of the pitch line, a window that is bowing, mold that is cracking, the yard wasnt properly sloped, concrete is flaking off the driveway, and our walkout basement has in it water every time it rains. Were able to fix alot of these problems but were up to $18k now. Centermarks solution was to move! The owner/builder whom never checked in on this build, basically said these things happen and his best solution was to move and make it someone elses problem. He takes zero responsibility or and could care less about the homes he builds. He does not contact us back when we contact him, and has blocked us from his social media accounts because he knows we are unhappy and he doesnt want us to ruin his reputation. He shouldnt being building custom homes and his rating should should reflect just that.
