    Called and asked about them doing a survey the beginning of April and sent a 200 dollar retainer check. Sent many messages but no answer so the end of August I cancelled the check and left another message telling Bader nevermind that I would find someone else. After 5 months Bader then sent me a bill for what he called research of 35.00, copies (7 pages) 45.00 and clerical (half an hour) 35.00 totalling 115.00. I did not ask for any copies nor did I want them. I am both angry and disappointed that after 5 months wasted waiting on them to do the job I get treated this way! I should not owe Bader anything!

    When *** **** originally called (April 11th) and ordered the survey, I explained it may be several months until we could schedule.  Although, we are in ********* County on other work and if we finished early, we may be able to start sooner on her survey.  I received the $200 retainer at the end of April and scheduled the survey for the 26th of August unless we could get there earlier.  *** **** canceled the survey on August 16th.  I spent time and coping cost, from the recorder of deeds office and from the **** ****** ******* preparing for her survey.  I sent copies of the research obtained for the survey to show *** **** the preparation that was completed.  I spent time and cost copies in the preparation of her survey and believe I should be compensated.

    I am rejecting this response because:  He told me it would be a couple of months and never ever heard from him.  Sent numerous texts and never a response so I stopped payment on my check because I figured he was no longer interested.  He never told me he had it scheduled until after I cancelled the survey and stopped payment on the check.  Five months is way too long not to stay in contact with a potential customer.  He never sent any follow ups so therefore I owe him nothing.
