On October 25, 2024 a vehicle was dropped off to Elite Customs to fix deer damage. The business committed to fixing the damage with the money provided with the insurance check. The shop said that they could get to it right away once the parts arrived. We were under the impression that the parts were on the way. After several more correspondence, it was said that they needed the money up front to get the parts ordered and they had not been ordered yet. On 12/12/2024, $2,000 was transferred to the shop for parts. After awhile of waiting to hear any update, correspondence happened again and we were told that everything was going fine, just having issues sourcing parts. We were then told that everything had been ordered and they were just waiting for a headlight but needed money to buy the headlight. On 2/11/2025, $1,000 was transferred to them for a headlight. After several more correspondence and sketchy excuses (which had been happening since November) it was discovered that only 2 of he parts had been ordered and received at an estimated $300 value. I gave the shop until March 1 to complete the vehicle or I would need to pick it up and take it to another shop. The vehicle was not completed on the agreed upon time. When the vehicle was picked up, I told the shop that we needed a receipt for any parts that were with the vehicle and anything unaccounted for by a receipt would need to be reimbursed to us. Upon pick up, the only 2 parts with the vehicle were the ones stated above and there was no receipt. There was no money reimbursed for the difference. The shop said they would get us the money but we have seen nothing and correspondence has stopped.
